This Author’s Note contains a few things about the book you should know before you begin reading:

1) This is the second book of The Eternal Annals, a mxm fantasy-romance series. You do not have to read the first book, Master, as the events of this storyline start before the events of Master.

HOWEVER, if you do not, there will be spoilers for what’s to come in the comments, as readers of Master know 1/2 of the storyline we will be following here.

2) This is my first big fantasy-romance venture. I always have romance as the main point of my books, and it will be heavy here, but there is a huge fantasy element with world-building and exploring an entirely new realm for the first time.

We’re getting thrown into this world as it happens, so lots of unfamiliar jargon and stuff to work through, but hopefully it won’t be too confusing once we get into things!!

3) Incase, you somehow missed it in the synopsis, tags and everything above, this is a mxm fantasy romance.

If it’s your first time venturing into mxm, good luck cause we get hot and heavy over here.

4) This book will likely be the book with the most angst yet.

I mean, get ready for me to stomp all over your heart. You’ve been warned. But funny enough, this will also have heavyyy BDSM themes.

More than Control but not like we know it, since obviously it’s a different world we’re mixing in here, but if you like D/s stuff – I think you’ll have a ball over here.

5) No hate. I welcome you to dislike the characters, and you are completely free to share that IF you’re actually here to enjoy the storyline. But don’t sit in my comments, spreading unnecessary hate regarding the book itself.
