Prologue
Centuries ago, man kind was at war with the demons, both fighting for control over earth. The battle lasted for years, but eventually, both forces realised the bloodshed wasn't worth it, so our leader made a truce with the demon lord, Azriel, and we lived in peace for 153 years. Both humans and demons helped each other, and we thrived together.
Unfortunately, Azriel was killed 6 years ago, and no one knew who his killer was. His soldiers, along with the humans, searched for his killer for months before they gave up.
Azriel's daughter, Lilith, took over the throne after her father died. Lilith was nothing like her father. She was a cold, ruthless killer who lived for war. No living human had ever seen Lilith and everyone who had was dead.
Lilith wiped out multiple planets and drove dosens of beings to extinction in the years after her father's passing.
The humans started to wonder if it wasn't her who killed Azriel, knowing she would inheri the throne.
For 4 years, Lilith left the humans alone, but 2 years ago, she declared war against earth. She wiped out most of the human race within a few months, and she did so without a hint of mercy or any hesitation.
Emma's great grandfather was the man who made a truce with Azriel all those years ago, and the humans have seen her family as leaders ever since he saved them all.
Emma's father, Max, was the human's leader when Lilith daclared war. He fought bravely in the war against the demons, but he was killed by one of Lilith's soldiers during battle.
With her dad gone, Emma was forced to take the lead, and she hesitantly took on the responsibility.
Emma was a person who didn't know fear, and she led with confidence and compassion. She was as beautiful as she was brave. She had long drk hair with piercing blue eyes, and she was taller than most of the people she knew.
Lilith killed all the humans except for a small group that Emma led into hiding. The group consisted of 29 people, including Emma.
They hid in a small town that Lilith had already destroyed, living in the few houses and buildings that were still standing, and they worked together to survive.
As the months passed by, the group started to lose hope, realising they were no match for Lilith's army, but Emma decided it was time to do something to stop the madness.
