Without hesitation, Tenan turned and headed for the stairway leading to the second floor.

The men with pocket knives followed him up to the second floor, which was empty except for several lavatories. Tenan quickly entered one of the lavatories to hide. When the three men arrived on the second floor, they glanced around, confused by Tenan's sudden disappearance. Slowly, they approached the lavatories, each standing by the door of one of the three lavatories.

The first man, preparing to open the lavatory door, exchanged nods with the other two as he slowly pushed it open. Upon entering, he found the lavatory empty, and he nodded his head at the others. As the second man was about to open his lavatory door, Tenan suddenly seized the first man from inside and yanked him into the lavatory, locking the door behind them.

Inside the lavatory, a struggle ensued with the sounds of fighting inside.
