Krakow incident

Patxi Laboa, Basque Dominion Secret Service

President Larrazábal,

This is my report.

On 8.11.2026, around 13:00, my squad was captured near Krakow. We were separated and taken to different facilities. I cannot confirm the fate of the others. I was kept as a potentially valuable resource. They bound me to their machines for days, subjecting me to experiments that blurred the line between reality and delusion.

Their technology is unlike anything we have seen—dark, dangerous, and deserving of our attention.

My interrogator was a woman named Mette Abelshauser, born in 1987, with a PhD in applied psychology (2015). On 13.11.2026, she led the session that ultimately destroyed their facility.

They never revealed their goals—only vague reassurances: “The pain will pass. You should survive the process.” The substances they injected clouded my memory, but my substance tolerance training proved useful. I resisted their efforts to dull me.

I remember their excitement. They believed they were close to uncovering something. I heard “Cut deeper,” spoken in Latvian—as if they were dissecting more than my mind. I believe their technology could complement our own neurological warfare capabilities.

At some point, I heard the words “¡Cobardes, cobardes, voy a matar a los habitantes de esta maldita casa!” erupt from the machines I was bound to. It was my own voice.

Moments later, the helmets they had been wearing turned against them. They screamed as the devices killed every last one — Abelshauser included. Only I survived.

We have since captured the remaining academics from an adjacent facility and secured the devices. They are en route to base_5489 for analysis. I apologize for the fact I was not able to capture all of them alive, as they were actively resisting.

Their experimental procedures exceeded their understanding. Despite lacking preconditioning for this specific scenario, information security was maintained. My undistilled hatred took care of everything.

The main female character reminds me somewhat of myself having to deal with childhood trauma that just leads you down a path of more bad decisions until one day you make a decision that changes everything for the better and it’s hard for to realize that...
