Chapter 1: The Repeating Day
Liam, Maya, and Jake arrived at Sunset Cove early one bright summer morning. The beach was beautiful—waves crashing gently, seagulls calling, and the sun shining brightly. They set up their towels and umbrellas, ready for a fun day.
But as Liam looked around, he noticed something odd. The same families, the same kids building sandcastles, even the same seagull swooping down for a snack. It was as if time was frozen.
“Did you guys see that?” Liam asked, pointing at a family building a sandcastle. “They’re doing the exact same thing as yesterday.”
Maya frowned. “That’s weird. Maybe it’s some kind of magic or a glitch?”
Jake shrugged. “Whatever it is, it’s kinda cool. Let’s see what happens at sunset.”
They laughed and played, but Liam kept looking at the horizon, feeling an odd sense of déjà vu.
