Chapter 1: Where It All Began
BELLATRIX
Come on now we're gonna be late, I said. Grace was snoring away and Sapphie, she was admiring my collection of Percy Jackson book. I mean even I couldn't take my eyes of them. Ammie (Sapphie's dog) licked Grace awake and cuddled in my arms, while Luna( my cat) gave us a side eye like what on earth was going on? Now that Grace was awake we were just about to leave.. in case you're wondering we were at Sapphie's house for a sleepover and we were getting ready for a morning walk. We ran to the nearby park. And we brought our pets of course I forced Luna to come! Unfortunately Grace doesn't have a pet. We were talking and talking about everything. By the way I'm 13 and basically the youngest ( the rest were 14). We were friends since 7th grade. I was a silent killer according to my besties who I met when I first moved into the UK which was 3 years ago. Grace however was my exact opposite a topper almost but no one could beat me. She was also a backbencher cool kid type. Our motto was "opposites attract" and it is true. Sapphie was totally different. If I could create an exact copy of myself but change its appearance and name it would be her. You're probably thinking"trios don't work " but in our case it does!
SAPPHIRE
First of all I love Percy Jackson! You probably understood that when I was admiring Trixie's Percy Jackson collection. But hey let me tell you, nothing …..can beat A Court of Thorns and Roses. But in the midst of my admiration, I got interrupted by Grace, who was gladly snoring away and Trixie who was asking her to wake up. As soon as my pet, Ammie heard Trixie she ran over and started licking Grace to wake her up. I put the leash and harness on Ammie as Grace finally woke up, while Trixie was pulling her cat of the sofa to which she seemed to be stuck to( part of Luna’s drama). And Grace didn’t have any pets. I kind of felt bad for her but atleast she doesn’t have to run around taking care of pets like me and Trixie. Trixie finally managed to pull Luna from the sofa. Luna scowled at her and I cringed at that. We were out of the house after that. We casually took a stroll across the street to Ammie’s favourite park and sat down on the bench there. Immediately we started talking about our exam portions and other thing. Mostly it was me and Trixie who was talking since Grace was playing fetch with Ammie. After some time, Grace came out and sat with us to talk. Soon Ammie got tired too and came to me. Trixie went to drink water so I started petting Ammie to get her relaxed. By then, Grace was looking pretty distracted by something or maybe she was just zoned out. She does this quite often nowadays, so I just let her be. By that time Trixie returned and we both started talking about a random topic again. Fully recharged, Ammie went to play and Luna watched curiously as she tumbled down on something.
GRACE
When I woke up… wait let me tell you how I woke up, by Trixie screaming in my ears(not a pleasant way to be woken up if you ask me. Atleast someone like Ammie who knew better woke me up by licking me (SO ADORABLE!!). I was getting ready for a morning walk at the park. Both Trixie and Sapphie took their pets with them. I felt ,left out with no pets but relieved at the same time. You get it? Anyways, as we were going, I ran to the park and all the pets followed me LOL! Poor Sapphie and Trixie were stressed. I jumped on to a swing like a happy fawn. If you’re wondering, my full name is Marina Grace ; I preferably go by Grace. I met my besties when attending a competition for NASA (I won by the way!) and Sapphie got second place by one mark, that’s how me and Sapphie became friends. But first I noticed Sapphie wasn’t like me at all I mean she eats her lunch very fast like how?! Then came along Trixie behind Sapphie like a silent koala but they both were like twins. We all had something in common though, singing songs and friendship of course. As we were chit chatting about random things I saw a black figure observing us, but I didn’t think much of it that time……
