(can be updated throughout the story)
Victoria (V, Vic or Ronnie)
One of the main characters is Victoria Smith, a shy and sweet girl who is deeply dedicated to her studies. With her sights set on attending Harvard Law School, she dedicates much of her time to her academic pursuits. Standing at 5′6", Victoria has striking black hair and captivating green eyes that reflect her determined and gentle nature.
Gemma (Gem)
Gemma is somewhat supporting, yet she often finds herself in the spotlight. She’s V’s best friend, having known each other since kindergarten, forming a bond that’s stood the test of time. Outgoing and confident, Gemma can also be a little shy at times. She’s ambitious, planning to take over her family’s business someday, and aspires to attend Harvard University to further her dreams. Bold and outspoken, Gemma isn’t afraid to speak her mind, even if it means ruffling a few feathers. She stands at 5’6”, just like V, with striking blue, green eyes and brown hair that frames her expressive face.
Emma (Em)
Emma is a supporting character who first crossed paths with V in Chemistry class, where she also met Gemma. The three of them spent much of their freshman year spending time together, and their bond has carried over into their sophomore year. Emma, the youngest child in the Johnson family, stands at 5′4" with blonde hair and striking green eyes. Ambitious and creative, she dreams of attending art school at Yale, determined to turn her passion into a future.
Josefine
Josefine embodies the typical “Pick Me” girl, often abandoning her friends to seek the company of boys. Throughout the story, she plays a role in bullying the trio and attempts to date all the football players, driven by her desire for attention. Her heart, however, only belongs to Conrad, and she constantly tries to make him jealous—though her efforts ultimately backfire, as Conrad’s attention is solely focused on someone else.
While Josefine is outgoing, her personality can be somewhat superficial and self-centered. She shows little interest in her education, as her main goal is to secure a position in her family’s company. Additionally, she has a mean streak, often displaying a lack of kindness and empathy toward others.
Conrad
Conrad is one of our main characters. In this story, he’s a junior and the star quarterback, effortlessly capturing the attention of every girl around him. Despite his confident exterior, Conrad’s life has been marked by struggles and difficult choices. From a young age, his parents made it clear who he was destined to marry, shaping his path in ways he couldn’t control.
Growing up in an abusive household, Conrad endured physical and emotional pain, with his biological father often resorting to violence. When he was seven, his parents divorced, and his mother remarried. His stepfather then built the influential Collins business empire, elevating Conrad’s family to dominate not only our state but several others as well.
Conrad is tall, standing at 6′6" with striking black hair, piercing green eyes, and a muscular build, complete with a defined six-pack. Despite his physical strength and popularity, he’s prone to making mistakes, often driven by his past and the pressures of his position.
Louis (Lou)
Louis is the newest junior at Westwood High, a charismatic figure whose charm is undeniable. However, his eyes are only for Victoria. Despite his confident exterior, V remains distant, leaving Lou puzzled and eager to understand her elusive demeanor. Their story takes a turn one day at Lou’s house, where a study session sparks an unexpected kiss. From that moment, V begins to flirt openly with Lou, but she’s also wrestling with a secret she’s hesitant to reveal. When she finally confesses, Lou’s reaction isn’t what she expected.
Beneath his charming facade, Lou harbors secrets of his own. Standing tall at 6′6" with dark brown hair and piercing grey eyes, he’s a master of attention and a notorious player, often delighting in playing with people’s feelings. His reputation precedes him, but there’s more to Lou than meets the eye and as their connection deepens, both will have to confront the truths they’ve been hiding.
