Chapter 1
Night – Kashmir City, Present Day
The crime scene was messy.
News reporters crowded the small lanes. A famous politician’s daughter had gone missing. The police had no strong clues. People were angry.
Sub-Inspector Apsara stood near her team. She was tall, strong, and serious. Her dark skin and sharp eyes gave her a powerful look. She never spoke too much. She proved herself with results.
But today, even Apsara felt pressure.
Suddenly, a black SUV stopped nearby. A tall man got out. He wore a long coat and dark sunglasses. He had a file in his hand and a face that showed no emotion. His name was SG — short for Silent God. A secret agent from RAW. He handled big cases, and he hated failure.
He walked straight into the scene without showing any ID.
“Excuse me!” Apsara said, stopping him.
“Only state officers are allowed. Please show your ID.”
He looked at her for a second. A strange moment passed. Something about her voice felt familiar to him. But he showed no sign.
Then, in a loud voice so others could hear, he said:
“No wonder this case is stuck. Your team can’t even handle traffic, forget solving a kidnapping.”
Silence fell.
Apsara’s face tightened.
“Excuse me?” she said, angrily. “We’ve secured the area. You can’t just walk in and—”
“I can. And I just did,” SG replied, showing his official file.
“This is a RAW case now. You had your chance.”
He walked past her.
Apsara stood still. Angry. Embarrassed. And... confused.
Something about him felt strangely familiar.
