“You cant run away from us forever girl! Theres no where for you to run!” Barked an amused man. His tone rang on the edge of laughter.
The said girl is me. Stupid. I was so stupid. And here i am paying for it. He was right though. Its raining but thats to the trees its not as bad but the ground is getting slippery. Not to mention making it easier for them to track me. Either they get me, the animals in this forest or the elements take my life. Am I running in circles? I was getting cold my clothes damp and its getting darker. I may never been an outdoors girl but I know forest is dangerous at night thanks to many stories one including Harry Potter. Sure there mag not be centuars or those creeph spiders… wait is there large spiders here?
Okay not the time! I slid and I grabbed the tree panting looking around.
“Come on girlie stop this nonsense. We promise to be gentle!” I heard another call laughing. I scowled. I’d rather die than face that. Die… would anyone miss me? My parents gone. My older brother… would he be happy? I put him through so much. Last thing he told me was to go. Hence im now in this stupid situation. I know now i shouldnhave listened. My head is always in these books of fantasy or adventure the make believe because reality was so much worse than when im safe reading a book.

I glanced and saw them. I turned and started runnkng again. Looking for a way to get away from them. Then I found it. My escape. I stopped on the edge of the cliffside. Down below were dark angry waves bashing against the cliff wall. Jump and die. Or stay and get captured and wish i was dead. Brother…. Im so sorry. Please forgive me. Please live on.
I turned seeing them rushing closer. Rain pouring down hard. My clothes drenched clunging to my body. I turned my heart accepting what im about to do. I leapt. In that moment it went slow. My heart dropped to my stomach. Memories good and bad rushed through my mind before it went dark.
“Hello child.”
“Where…am I?” I asked. I felt sleepy like any moment I can drift off.
“You are in a special place. You needn’t worry where. Only on the why. Before you get reborn im blessing you.” The voive spoke softly.
“Blessing me? Reborn?” I started but then i remembered what happened.
“Oh right I did die.” I spoke.
“With this blessing I hope this new life will bring you peace and happiness. As well as a longer life.” The voice said.
I felt warm and it faded to black again. The shrill cry was heard. I felt being wrapped. Reminded me like a comforting hug. The crying began to calm down. Was that me?
“Sorry for your loss Mr. Potter.” I heard. Huh? What happened. Did someone die? I felt warm water drop on my head. I made a face.
“Sorry princess. Daddy is a bit sad.” A man choked out.
“Did you have a name for her or godparents picked out?” The same voice who apologized asked.
“Right. Her mother picked out her first name I got the middle name. Though seeing her I finally decided on the tie breaker. Princess your name is Charlotte Lux Potter. As for her godparents. Her godmother would Andromeada Tonks, her godfather will be Severus Snape.” He said. Severus snape?! Did he say Tonks?
