Summary

Y/N doesn't speak anymore. Her past is a song too painful to finish, and silence is the only place she feels safe. But when Jimin hears the music she hides behind, something shifts. He doesn't ask her to talk. He listens. "Some memories don't fade," she thinks. "They hum like background noise." "Then let me learn your song," he says. "Even the parts that hurt." She's forgotten how to be heard. He's learning how to reach her. And together, they might find a way to heal...one note at a time.

Prologue

Y/N doesn’t speak.

Not because she can’t...but because her past has stolen the words from her.

She lives behind silence and worn piano keys, where music becomes the only language she still trusts. Each note she plays is a secret, a scar, a memory of something...or someone...she lost.

She tells herself she’s fine this way. That the quiet is safer. That the pain will stay buried if she never lets it surface.

Until he hears her.

Jimin doesn’t mean to find her.

He stumbles across the music first...soft, aching, and beautiful in a way that stops him cold. Then he sees the girl behind it. Quiet eyes, trembling fingers, and something in her that calls to everything he’s kept hidden in himself.

He doesn’t ask her to speak. He doesn’t push her to explain.

He just stays.

“Some memories don’t fade,”Y/N thinks.“They hum like background noise, no matter how loud the world gets.”

“Then let me learn your song,”Jimin says.“Even the parts that hurt.”

In a school full of sound, Y/N is the quietest girl...until the boy with the warmest voice starts to hear her in ways no one ever has.

And maybe, just maybe... he’s the melody that can bring her voice back.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me.
