Under the Bleachers
"This is a story that dove deep into the thoughts and feelings of the MC, Arty. When he was spiralling, we were spiralling with him. When he analysed his feelings, so did we. And through it, his feelings and understanding of his true LI developed, and I grew attached to both of them. Under those bleachers is where it began, and where it...begins, because this is not the end. What an emotional cliff hanger this story ends in, though, as it is the first of the series. I need the rest, because I need that HEA."
A Great first entry for a new author
"This was actually a really solid read so far. I like Arty a lot. he's a likeable, charismatic guy whose written well. You feel his social anxiety and you feel for him. Hope is awesome by the way. I hope she shows up more in this story. I'm only on Chapter 3 but will keep an eye on it and check on it now and again. Are there struggles? Yes. Ed tends to "tell not show" but not in a massively horrible way that deserves you beating him over the head for it. More like J.D. Salinger. If you put up with it from Catcher in the Rye, you can put up with it from Ed. He doesn't always do it. Jimmy so far seems like "the catch". I like that he's written like this kind of mythic creature Arty wishes he could catch if not for the insurmountable obstacle of: "The Girlfriend" oof. Right? Gut punch. Poor guy. This is a serialized fiction that's worth your time. Solid 4 stars. Lets go, Ed!"
Innocence
