Prologue
Third person pov -
They Said the north wing shut down because of "administrative restructuring".That was the headline anyway. Short. Clean deceitfully polite.
But everyone who mattered knew the truth.
Too many secrets.Too many scandals.Too many children of dangerous men caught doing things the media couldn't hide anymore.
One overdose too public. One bloody corridor too loud. And the board had no choice but to pull the plug- temporarily of course. That's what they told the press.
But behind closed doors the decision was swift and strategic: dissolve the North wing, scatter the mess, and relocate only the few deemed... Containable.
Not expelled. Not punished. Just transferred- like chess pieces placed in a quieter game.
That's how a list was formed. A short one. Names written not just in ink but bloodline and power.
And somewhere near the top of it, sat one name.
Lucian Morreti.
The announcement of the transfer hit South Aureum like a warning.
Some students whispered in curiosity. Some felt the shift before it arrived- like the silence before a thunderstorm.
Because South Aureum Academy wasn't just an elite school. It was hierarchy carved in marble floors and stiched to uniforms.
And at the centre of it sat the girl no one dared to touch.
No one knew why the staff listened to her. No one knew what made even the principal pause before making a move. But everyone knew her name.
Seraphina vale.
They called her the queen of South Aureum.
She never claimed the title. She never needed to.
And now, new players were being moved into her kingdom.
Including one who didn't kneel. One who came from blood-soaked halls and whispered threats.
Lucian Morreti was coming.
And no one was ready for what would happen when
he
met
her.
Not even them.
The list arrived at South Aureum the next morning- sealed in an envelope, handed off by trembling fingers, and delivered directly to an office that wasn't even on staff directory.
Seraphina vale didn't look surprised when it landed on her desk. She didn't even glance at it.
The envelope remained untouched as she poured her tea, seated in silence, cold light spilling across marble floors. It was as if she already knew every name written inside.
She didn't ask for power. They give it to her. Because no one else could hold it without trembling.
The envelope sat on her desk like a challenge.
She opened it without blinking.
She read each name once. Then Circled thrice.
That was her answer. That was the academy's fate.
She didn't realise it yet- but in choosing them, she had sealed her own.
Quietly. Without even knowing. And entirely by her own hand.
And that's done.
The game has only begun. Look closely. The ones who stay silent often have the most to hide.
Do we love Seraphina already? If not, then in future you sure will 😼😉
Let's wrap it up for now, i will upload chapter one soon until then stay tuned.
Watch the throne ✨
