Review

"Such an amazing book with a compelling plot. Thank you for writing this, SaherJ. The story starts with my favourite and the main character Konain whose aim is simple —to live a normal life but it turns out NOTHING is normal. She connected with a lot of people, made friends and it was beautiful. Then, the betrayal hit which left me in shock. One character I hate is Nash (I wonder if I remember his name correctlyšŸ˜…). Some characters make you hate them which simply shows the author grip. The writing style was perfect except the fact that I would have liked some description to some scenes, otherwise it was simply great. There were so many arcs and I enjoyed all of them. I can say that this first book was just great. The grammar, the plot (the plot especially) was on point. Highly recommended!!! "

Spoilerrrrrrr Alertttttt!

"So first of all this book’s amazing! We had multiple arcs in this story! It starts with Konain who wants to live a normal life on Earth. She joins a school and within a span of time she makes a new friends and finds herself a new admirer too Adam. A part of her wants to enjoy this life but she can’t help but hide the truth about herself. She’s enjoying her life with her friends and brothers but behind all of this her friends are bretraying her thinking she is the one causing all this harm. We have the Ashed Brothers whom Cilia loathes for some reason or the other because her father Deey respects them a lot and she barely gets any love from her father. As the story proceeds, and then Konain finds out she has been bretrayed by her friends all this time. Tylor who was actually Yaneez manages to protect her and brings her back to where she comes from. Then Konain seeks revenge. She is the one who reveals the truth about Dr Steve about how he is making money by harming people. We find out Diana actually exists and loathes Konain despite being her mother. We see Dr Allen and Adam realising their mistake and they try to help Konain but she refuses. About her other friends I don’t know... I guess they fell trap to Cilia. We see Konain being controlled by her father Nash and now because of this Cilia is killed and she nearly harms her brothers. At last she manages to fight him off by an Oath only t find herself in trouble again as she has to complete an Oath in return. Then Adam also makes an Oath so that Konain can be his instead of Yaneez which makes Yaneez angry! A lot more things I can add but this would be a spoiler for future readers as if I haven’t added alottt! 🤭 I just want to say this books amazing! And I can’t wait to read more and personally I want to see Adam and Konain together. Yaneez is good but maybe idk let’s seee! "

Fiery Fantasy šŸ”„

"Before I can start, I'd like to thank the author for writing this book! I have read a lot of books, but this book overall became my favourite! I have so much to say about this book and I don't even know where to start! Everything about this book left me speechless! 🤩 Where do I even begin? The book served the purpose well! Throughout the story, I grew attached to these characters! Konain, the Ashed Brothers, Yaneez, and so on! Not to mention one time this book made me break a rule by reading more! 🤣 But the story is indescribable! This is a fantasy story that dared to release its potential. And dare I say... it did! šŸ”„ The story follows this young girl named Konain. Throughout the story, she made loads of friends. Adam, Mehru, Nora, Rob, and I loved it! The early chapters were very mysterious, yet some were entirely wholesome! For example, the chapter returning to her friends after leaving without a word was wholesome. Their welcomes were cosy to read! Adam was Konain's love interest and I shipped them a lot Throughout the story! Their chemistry was cute and their relationship was romantic! The romance in this book was incredible! Konain's relationships were always so cosy and outstanding! What I also loved was the drama in this story! In one of the early chapters, Mehru gave Konain a hard time for always fighting her battles, causing her to understand that they can't always fight her battles. Or when the Ashed Brothers visited Konain only for them to leave so soon, causing Konain to snap at everyone for making her feel alone! The drama between Konain and Orio was also intense! You've nailed these moments hard and these were tense moments in the story! šŸ’« At first, I kept shipping Konain and Adam because I felt there were sparks between them! Sparks like any great couple looks! For many chapters, I kept wanting them to end up together! To be the endgame! But after the shenanigans Adam pulled by betraying her and hurting her, he became my least favourite character! It's crazy how one of my favourite characters turned out to be my least favourite in this book! After causing her near death and pinning the blame on others, he didn't deserve her. He lost all the spark. The betrayal caught me off guard! And this is when I broke one of my rules by reading more chapters! 🤣 The betrayal was so suspenseful and overwhelming! I never figured they would betray Konain! While they betrayed Konain, no one betrayed Konain the way Adam did. Konain SAVED his life and all I could think was how he hurt her. He kept urging everyone not to hurt her, yet he hurt her from the start by being part of it! Adam used to be my favourite! I used to ship him and Konain a lot! But after what he had done, he became my least favourite character in the book. I at first preferred him over Tylor (AKA Yaneez) because Tylor was trying to get in the way! 🤣 But after Yaneez looped in and saved Konain, everything about him changed. He literally spoke facts about them betraying her and hurting her when he's here to save her! He pointed out about everything wrong they had done! How hypocritical they acted! Yaneez literally became a favourite character! And chapters about him and Konain? LOVED THEM! I shipped them much more than Adam and Konain because Yaneez was actually a confident gentleman towards Konain! 🤩 Konain's revenge was incredible! Spreading the truth throughout the entire world and revealing the true evil of Dr. Steve was shocking and satisfying! That man lived for torture and refused to allow Konain to help/heal anyone just so he could do it himself! Not out of the goodness of his heart, but just to gain money out of it! He didn't care one bit of a human being! And John was a mere puppet of him. Konain revealed who Dr. Steve truly suspenseful! Because of that, Dr. Steve lost. Konain did it for the good and didn't care about fame and such. She only did it, to protect and it's what makes her an incredible character! šŸ˜† Between all the Ashed Brothers, I have to say... I actually liked Fay and Ozz the most! Fay because he was the most caring and thoughtful to Konain and everyone. He was always calm and always thought of others. His talks with Konain were always so amazing and advising! A lot of people could learn more from Fay! šŸ˜† And as for Ozz, well what can I say? He was without a doubt the funniest character in the story! His lines always made me laugh, his sarcasm and jokes were hysterical, and even when he gets easily irritated such as the time he was hungry was genuinely hilarious! 🤣 But when they get mad, they release their fury! The action chapters were always so exciting too! Ray battling his own shadow literally got me! It was such a tense battle that Ray had a difficult time fighting, but he still emerged triumphant! I have to admit, that might've been my favourite battle in the book because fighting your own shadow can be the most difficult thing to do! šŸ‘€šŸ”„ I also love the foreshadowing in this book! I am so excited and curious to the Ice World! With a book having the title "fire" in it, it's quite exciting to see another element or a sub element that's going to take a huge role in the story! I can't wait to find out more of it! šŸ˜†šŸ”„ā„ I'm quite excited to also see more of the Uris! I really loved them! šŸ˜†šŸ’«šŸ’™ Might I just say, the final arc was I think the most exciting part of the book! With everyone coming towards the Ashed Brothers after Cilia manipulation, it was bound to get out of control! It was chaos and I couldn't stop reading! Sharoz was about to release his fury towards them, only for Fay to advise him not to yet, knowing it was too powerful! Ozz normally jokes and has a personality of a clown, but after Fay got hurt in the arc, he put all his jokes aside and got serious! I've never seen him get this angry! But who could blame him? 😮 King Nash using Konain to get his revenge was insane! And then you had Diana who has been alive all this time just to dislike all of her children! What type of person is that?! The Ashed Brothers were perfect for Konain, because they were the only ones there for her and to protect her! It was incredible reading Konain's side in one book, and the Ashed Brothers side in another book! I really loved this and the twists in this book were just outstanding! šŸ’™ But I could not stand Adam for what he did in the end! He basically cast a verse just to be with her! Konain was going to go at it alone or with Yaneez or who could know how she was going to take it from here on out. Everyone was volunteering to come with her for her safety, to protect Konain. Adam only did it because he still has feelings for her and doesn't want to lose her. I found it selfish, because he did it based on his feelings and not based on the situation they were in. But because of that, who knows what BOOK II will present! šŸ‘€ I am super excited for it to come out and can't wait for it! BOOK I of "The Heiress Of Fire" released so much great potential and it delivered the job well! This is my favourite book by far and I am so happy I've read it! 🤩 Incredible book, eagerly waiting for BOOK II! šŸ˜†šŸ’«šŸ”„"

The Heirras of Fire

"So far, this story is very interesting. The author does a great job of creating interesting characters and plot twists that keep you guessing. The main character is really interesting so far and I’m curious to learn more about the prophecy that has led to her being hidden and kept away from the world until now. It’s clear she’s powerful, but will be interesting to see exactly how powerful. The writing style is very fast paced with many things happening in a chapter. This story is a great fit for fantasy/mystery readers who want a fast paced story :) "

"Overall, I like this story. I like how the author characterizes and develops each of the characters in this story. It's well-written and entertaining. It keeps me interested, and I'm not a woman who can stay interested with something whether it’s reading material or movies that I don’t like for very long. Congratulations to @Dawnwrites for her good work."

Fascinating Read!

"This is such an interesting and well written story. One of the handful of stories on here that deviates from the typical shifter, mafia, high school themes (nothing wrong with those type of stories...just noting that they’re the predominant theme in this platform) and it’s an amazing storyline. Plenty of twist, turns, fantasy and themes that are very human and relatable at their core. Not finished yet but based on everything I’ve ready so far, I’d absolutely recommend this šŸ’œ"

Great premise

"This book is still ongoing, and I’ve read the first 25 chapters so far. I really enjoy the premise—it feels fresh, creative, and original. The tension is built so well that you can’t help but keep turning the pages. I imagine the small spacing and punctuation slips are just from fast typing, and they don’t take away from how engaging the story is. It’s definitely worth the read, and you’ll quickly find yourself picking favourite characters."

Great Contest and reader potential

"The Heiress of Fire is a beautifully written, slow burn fantasy that blends lyrical prose with deep emotional stakes.Konain's struggle between her hidden powers and a suffocating human life creates rich tension .The Ashed mythology is original and atmospheric, with haunting symbolism. While the pacing is gradual,it bends a powerful foundation for twists ahead .With a stranger hook in the opening, this story has great contest and reader potential "

Slow Burn—but Not About Romance

"The Heiress of Fire opens with a mystical tone, building a world filled with mystery, hidden power, and complex character connections. The setting—Angelic Bright Academy—feels magical, while also flirting with mundane details. Some aspects of the setting might feel unrealistic, but that’s a common and acceptable trade-off in fantasy for the sake of narrative convenience. The emotional tone is raw and poetic, though it occasionally leans into "edgy" or chunibyo (8th-grader syndrome) territory, which some readers may find charming or overly dramatic depending on taste. The pacing begins slowly, but a series of coincidental events gradually propel the story forward—as expected in a ā€œchosen oneā€ narrative. One suggestion for improvement: try to keep the writing style consistent. I suspect AI assistance might have been used, as there are noticeable shifts in tone and structure. Abrupt changes in writing style—unless clearly marked as flashbacks, inner monologues, or narrative emphasis—can feel jarring and pull the reader out of the story. A little refinement here would really strengthen the flow."

A Story That Glows in the Dark

"The Heiress of Fire opens with a hauntingly beautiful chapter that drew me in instantly. From the very first lines, I felt myself stepping into Konain’s shadowed, secretive world—quiet on the surface yet burning with something untamed beneath. Angelic Bright Academy is painted with a brush that makes it feel at once enchanting and unsettling, like a place where every hallway hides a secret. What I loved most is Konain’s voice—introspective, lyrical, her powers ,feelings ,emotions are unforgettable. The prose doesn’t just tell her story; it lets you feel her silences, her guarded strength, and the weight of something ancient awakening inside her. The relationships, especially with Ashed brothers, unfold in a way that feels natural and emotionally resonant, grounding the story’s mystery in genuine human connection. The pacing kept me hooked from start to finish, with the perfect blend of atmosphere and intrigue. If anything, I’d only wish for a touch more clarity about the world’s magical rules in these opening pages—but honestly, the air of mystery is part of what makes this beginning so compelling. Overall, The Heiress of Fire is a spellbinding start that promises depth, danger, and beauty. It’s the kind of opening that lingers long after you’ve closed the chapter, urging you to read on."
