A new favorite
"I absolutely loved this story. Being a “paranormal geek”, this really hit the spot for me. You really have a talent for capturing that necessary chilling emotion through your descriptions. There are only 2 things I would point out...and 1 is purely my opinion. First, there were a handful of places that jumped “scenes” without necessary transitions. Jumping from resting a bit in a vehicle then searching archives in the next sentence is one example. Second, for the ending, I would have loved to see much more character development with Ben in the beginning. I think the impact would be stronger. Especially since Vega’s character was such a strong presence for her. But that’s my opinion...a much stronger impact of love, loss, and redemption. But I still really loved this story and will probably curl up and read it again. **edited to add - just saw there’s a book 2. Yay!"
