A Huge Problem
Sienna’s POV:
He’s going to kill me. Today’s my last day, which I’ve accepted but really I didn’t think I’d be in this situation, I mean who does?
I wasn’t thinking straight. I just want him to feel what he did. Noah, who’s from the Red Moon Pack spent a night with my best friend Trina. They are mates. But what I’ve heard from hysterical Trina, Noah decided to start the mating process that night but refused to mark her.
He fucked her—and then kicked her out like was some nameless hook-up. Ashamed, Trina came right back from their pack house to ours but ended up in my room. She’s been in pain ever since and her wolf is also refusing to speak or help Trina out, the rejection sting burning her wolf as well.
Someone has to teach Noah a lesson. The second I heard from Trina what happened I came to the Red Moon Pack to find him and put him through some pain. Let his Alpha and pack know what he’s done. I knew Alpha Cole and Michelle would have spoken to that pack’s Alpha, but what would that do? Trying to make him understand? He’s a grown man, and if he doesn’t understand his decisions now, when will he? So I decided to go “talk” to him myself.
Noah broke pack law — mating but refusing to mark your mate is a top-tier offence. It’s a crime of the highest order and can have the most severe punishments given to the offender. The punishments are torturous, each varying from being an outcast of the pack, or not being allowed to shift during the full moon, each as brutal as the next. But he is from our rival pack so I don’t really know just how good of a Alpha of this pack is, or what punishment will be decided and that’s if they decide to do that.
It’s been just under six months of our packs coming together. When Alpha Michelle managed to kill our previous Alpha it automatically made sense for every wolf in my pack to listen to her. She managed to get our and Alpha Cole’s pack to become one, since they’re mates. It’s unheard of what they’re doing but I think they’re doing a fantastic job - not just looking out for their own packs but each other’s too. It’s fucking awesome to have them as Alphas.
The previous Alpha was a disaster, I mean think of Trump’s leadership but now more focused on just one group of people who have no choice but to listen to him. We didn’t even know his name. And that wasn’t due to our lack of manners, it was his. The guy just wanted to control us and therefore to psychologically mess with us so he refused to let us know his name and said to call him Alpha. Just that, Alpha. I mean, what the fuck?
Anyway, now our Alphas Michelle and Cole have both the pack together and we all get along great. Or at least most of us.
Since the pack is now huge (and we’re talking hundreds of people now), Alpha Michelle thought it’d be great for Alpha Cole’s Betas, Samuel and his mate Raphael, to stay in that position but add on another just so our pack has someone they’re familiar with too. So Leo Carver was chosen. So to sum it up, Alpha Cole and Michelle united their packs — which is rare, powerful, and fierce. Their Betas keep order, which includes the infamously grumpy Leo.
Leo. The thing about Beta Leo is that he’s a very grumpy person. There’s nothing on planet earth that will make that man smile. I swear to the Moon Goddess, I’ve never seen him without a fucking frown on his face. It’s so infuriating. I mean just a few weeks ago, he helped save a 7 year old girl’s life who gave him a flower as a thank you. Did that man smile? No. Goddess, he’s so annoying. I mean he did take the flower but acknowledged the girl with a nod and then proceeded to walk off in the other direction. I mean, who does that?
So now that grumpy, major pain in the asshole decided he’s going to come and help me out of this mess I got myself in. The mess being that I decided to enter this pack’s territory with no one else and not notifying either Alphas or any Betas.
Alpha Cole is an amazing Alpha but just as amazing as a mate. We’ve all seen him being crazy protective over his mate, sometimes just being mad for not being near her or have her in his sight at all. Alpha Michelle is known to be sweet and patient but when angry she’s even more terrifying than Alpha Cole. So pissing them both off will be an accomplishment no one else has ever achieved most likely because nobody is that stupid!
Except me, apparently. Fuck!
I’m standing in one of their guestrooms right now, being guarded, with two men outside my room and the Alpha also keeping an eye on me just two doors away. When I got here I straight headed for Noah and when I crossed borders, the Alpha must’ve felt it since he got there so quickly right in the middle of me beating the crap out of Noah. For someone who goes to the gym a lot, Noah is quite weak.
I had only managed to give him a concussion (a blitz attack), a few punches to the stomach and then just as I threw him against a tree, his Alpha Nathan, managed to get to me and stop me. I may not have my wolf yet, but I had my rage with me - which was more than enough to take this son of a bitch down. I worked myself to the bone in order to compensate of not having a wolf. While others were out celebrating getting wolves or their friends getting wolves, I was at the gym or the training grounds, making sure if somebody does try to hurt me I have the strength to fight back. And I do. Which I’ll be using to my full advantage.
For someone who’s in his late 40s Alpha Nathan is so much more stronger than he seems. He’s starting to get white in his hair and has a small unmanaged beard which needs to get some work done on. Despite not knowing the man, I can tell this scruffy beard look isn’t really his style. He’s wearing a navy blue suit with no tie and his hair tied up behind his head in a small man-bun, small dark eye-bags being his only feature that doesn’t suit him. Anyone can tell from a distance how much of a mess he is yet despite that the man is standing tall, taking care of his pack even though members like Noah really don’t deserve his protection and care.
Alpha Nathan seems like a fair man as right then and there he asked what I was doing there. Noah was still lying on the floor throughout my explanation, as if he gave up trying to fight. After explaining the whole story he seemed absolutely pissed off but not just with Noah, me too. Claiming it’s for me involving myself into this and not talking to my Alphas and as for Noah... well, let’s just say him and his wolf for the next six full moons are going through hell.
That’s still not enough for me though. I mean he hasn’t even officially rejected her nor accepted her. They’re just...there, the bond hanging on by a literal thread. Without either mate accepting or rejecting the bond, they’re both in pain. What I don’t understand is if he was going to reject Trina, why hasn’t he done so yet? Why sleep with her then humiliate her? I wanted to have these questions answered from Noah himself, but my anger got the best of me and now I’m waiting.
For Beta Leo.
Leo.
It can’t get any worse than this, that’s for damn sure. Alpha Nathan has informed me of Leo on his way and how the Alphas know too. Fuck, they’re gonna be mad. I just wasn’t thinking straight. All I wanted was to hurt the man who hurt my friend. Trina isn’t just a friend though, she’s my sister, even if we aren’t related by blood. We don’t have to be.
We’ve been through it all. Ups and downs. Graduation, her getting her wolf, me not getting mine but still having her support. Life is just easy with a person that you’re comfortable with, that you don’t have to pretend with. Trina believed in love like that. She believes in that love at first sight type of love. That type where even the silences are comforting if you’re with that one special person. She believes in that “The Notebook” type of love. Or believed. Now I’m not so sure. Yeah, one night with Noah, might sound pathetic to some but that one night changed everything.
They were supposed to be together right now. Flaunting their love to the world. Trina loves PDA, often telling me how she wants her mate to be affectionate whenever and wherever he wants. They were supposed to be here together right now. But he kicked her out. And that morning when she did come back, it was like he broke her.
It took an hour to get her to talk to me. An hour of silence and quiet tears dripping down her face. She was whispering to me how she will never believe in love again. And how “The Notebook” is just a movie and she shouldn’t have made the mistake of putting her standards that high. How I should set all the romance books of hers on fire.
Noah broke her. In all ways a person could be.
Trina may not want him in pain but I do, so I did all I could. Except now, after getting him hurt I’m starting to think I shouldn’t have come by myself. What the hell am I going to tell Leo or the Alphas? I maybe right and they may see where I’m coming from but how I went about this situation, they won’t look past this.
I was right in the middle of trying to put a small explanation together being so focused on getting out of this problem, that I didn’t even hear the loud, angry footsteps being taken towards my door.
The door slammed open and I saw him, completely pissed off like I’ve never seen him before, “What the fuck did you do?”
Okay, well I was wrong, sue me. Things can get worse.
