Chapter 1 The silent call
The world is changing, but most people don’t know it yet.
Far away from normal life, Nox is on a mission in a ruined city. The streets are broken, the sky feels heavy, and strange shadows move in the distance. Nox moves quietly, dressed in black, calm and serious. He doesn’t speak much—but he always finishes the job.
Suddenly, his communicator buzzes for the first time in years. A voice speaks:
> “Nox. Return to NEXUS Headquarters. This is a top priority.”
Nox doesn’t ask questions. He knows what this means. Something big is happening.
Elsewhere, Forge is fighting. He punches through a dark creature that looks like smoke and fire mixed together. He’s strong, brave, and always puts others first. But today, he’s alone—and the enemies just keep coming.
When he finally defeats them, tired and injured, his communicator lights up too.
> “Forge. Report to NEXUS. You’ve been called back.”
He takes a deep breath, wipes the blood from his face, and gets moving.
Far away, in a tall, quiet tower, Platinum stands near a window. She looks calm on the outside, but inside, she feels empty. She’s been alone for years—cold missions, no emotions, no room for mistakes.
Her communicator lights up. She stares at it.
> “Platinum. It’s time to come home. The team is waiting.”
She doesn’t answer. But she walks away from the window… and doesn’t look back.
Reunion at NEXUS
One by one, Nox, Forge, and Platinum arrive at NEXUS Headquarters. It’s a huge, high-tech building hidden from the world. No one else is there—just them and silence.
They see each other for the first time in five years.
Forge gives a small smile, trying to break the tension.
Nox stays quiet but watches them carefully.
Platinum crosses her arms, not showing any emotion.
Before anyone can speak, the commander enters.
> “You were trained alone. You survived alone.
But from now on, you move together.
Because what’s coming… is darker than anything we’ve faced before.”
They don’t say a word. But deep inside, something starts to shift.
The team is back. The mission is beginning.
