Chapter 1 "First day Jitters"
Start writing here…Clara is reading a book at her study table when she suddenly realizes:
CLARA: "Oh no! It's 12:45. I'm already late. Tomorrow is my first day at work as a journalist! If I don't get there on time, what will they think of me?"
CLARA (talking to herself): "Go, Clara, go to bed and get some sleep."
**MORNING TIME**
(Suddenly woken up by the alarm)
CLARA (irritated): "Ugh, stop it!"
(Holding the alarm clock and checking the time)
CLARA: "OMG! It's 9:00. I'm late for my job!"
(Jumps out of bed and starts getting ready in a hurry)
On her way to work, CLARA nervously talks to herself:
CLARA: "What if they fire me because I'm late? Then no one will help me, I don't have any money, and I'll starve to death!"
(She suddenly realizes she is standing in front of the building where she's going to work)
CLARA (in shock): "Oh! It's so big and beautiful. I'm going to work here!"
(She checks her wristwatch)
CLARA: "Thank God! I'm on time."
While talking to herself, she hears a voice:
VOICE: "Clara!"
CLARA (turns around, panicked): "Sorry, sorry, sir! I know it's my fault. I'll be on time next time. Please forgive me!"
VOICE (with a mischievous tone): "Yes, it's your fault."
CLARA (recognizing the voice): "Wait, this voice... Zara?"
ZARA: "Yes, it's me."
CLARA (in shock): "What are you doing here?"
ZARA (emotionally): "I'm here for you, Clara."
ZARA: "Now let's go inside, otherwise, they might fire both of us."
CLARA "Yeah, yeah! Let's go."
(They go inside and introduce themselves)
LUNCH TIME**
CLARA: "Zara, I want to buy a book for reading. Do you know any libraries nearby?"
ZARA: "Yeah, I know. We can go together after work. Okay?"
CLARA: "Done!" (excitedly)
