A glimpse of siah Lutera

It was a dark, rainy night in the streets of Azora. A figure dressed in black moved swiftly, almost like the wind itself. As the moonlight broke through the clouds, it cast a glow on him, revealing striking black eyes and thick, perfectly arched eyebrows. His face was covered with a black cloth, his entire attire blending seamlessly with the shadowy atmosphere.

With a single leap, he landed on a windowsill, then climbed higher with ease until he reached a luxurious chamber. Peering through the balcony window, his gaze fell upon a breathtaking gemstone—so radiant that it seemed to glow on its own, needing no other light to shine.

A quiet whisper escaped his lips, filled with admiration. "Wah… gorgeous."

But that moment of appreciation was short-lived. His eyes sharpened as he scanned the room—guards were stationed all around. He was prepared. With a swift flick of his hand, he tossed a chain to the opposite side of the chamber, creating a noise that sent some guards rushing toward it. Taking advantage of the distraction, he took down a few more guards silently. Then, in one swift motion, he snatched the gemstone, darted across the rooftops, and vanished into the darkness.

Below, the guards—clad in royal armor—stood stunned. One of them clenched his fists and grunted, "That little punk! He’s stolen yet another priceless treasure. That bastard… Sia Lutera!"

Night slowly faded into day. The streets of Azora shimmered with vibrant colors, bustling with life as always. But amidst the lively atmosphere, whispers spread among the people.

"Did you hear? Sia Lutera has stolen something again!" one man murmured to his companion.

"Yes, I heard it from the Royal Guards," the other replied.

The first man sighed. "Oh God, what if he starts stealing from ordinary people? We’ll be ruined!"

"God is Almighty; He will protect us," the second man reassured him. "But honestly, I don’t think Sia Lutera would do that. He only steals from corrupt wealthy people."

"You’re right," the first man agreed, nodding. "I just hope he never turns to our homes."

"Ameen," the other whispered.

Not far from them, a boy sat by a window, listening to their conversation. His dark eyes, filled with guilt, hinted at something deeper—something he wouldn't say out loud. Lost in thought, he barely noticed the world around him until a voice called from inside the house.

"Tahir! Come down!"

Snapping out of his thoughts, he softly replied, "I’m coming, Maa."

He stood up and walked downstairs, finding his mother in the kitchen. Without a word, he wrapped his arms around her in a warm hug.

Maa, what’s for breakfast?" he asked.

"Roti and na'na'," she answered.

Tahir grinned. "Hmm… Okay, I’ll finish it."

As he ate, he exaggerated his enjoyment. "Maa, this is delicious!"

His mother chuckled. "Yes, yes!"

Finishing his meal, he hugged her again. "Mmm, all done!"

"Good," she said with a smile.

Tahir tilted his head. "Maa, you look so beautiful today."

She narrowed her eyes, already understanding his flattery. "Alright, just make sure to be home by 6 p.m. And bring some tomatoes on your way back."

Excitedly, Tahir grinned. "Okay, Maa! You’re the best!"

With that, he stepped out onto the streets, looking like any ordinary teenage boy. As he walked through the marketplace, he suddenly stopped in front of a peculiar house—strangely beautiful yet carrying an unsettling aura.

Without hesitation, he stepped inside, as if it were his favorite place to visit.
