Chapter 1-Love at first sight
Long, long ago, a woman named Ryan came into the world, and she was her father’s little helper when it came to making swords, other weapons used in a battle. The father and daughter were very close, by the time Ryan was an adult she learned everything she needed to know about craftsmanship and what it means to be a true weapon maker. One day when Ryan was out hunting, she came across something beautiful, a mask made of metal, the color turned out to be black and white with ancient runes on the inside of the mask. Anyone who wears the mask will become something more than a hero; they will become inhuman. During this time, Ryan had no idea about what she had gotten herself into. A few years later, when Ryan turned 29 years old, she had gotten into an accident, leaving her face burned and hard to recognize. Instead of showing her face, Ryan decided to wear the mask in order to keep her face hidden from anyone who came face to face with her.
When Ryan decides to go for a walk in the middle of the night, she begins to hear screaming and decides to rush over to help the young woman. Victoria was surrounded by 3 bandits, she had no idea on what to do. All of a sudden, a masked stranger shows up to help Victoria.
Victoria: Who are you?? Thank you for saving my life!
Ryan: My name is Ryan, and I am the masked stranger. What are you doing walking around in the middle of the night?
Victoria: It’s nice to meet you, Ryan. I was out in the middle of the night because I wanted to take a walk to my favorite place and clear my mind of things I’ve been stressed about.
Ryan: Where are you from?
Victoria: I am from a village called Norwood. How about you? Where are you from?
Ryan: I live in a place called Sea Moore.
Victoria: If you don’t mind, can I see what you look like without your mask?
Ryan: I’m sorry, but I can’t show you my face. I don’t want to scare you.
After a night of saving a beautiful young woman, deep down inside Ryan had a feeling that she was starting to fall in love, even though she didn’t really know Victoria. Ryan decided that she wanted to keep seeing Victoria, maybe one day reveal her face. Victoria is escorted home by Ryan, and she has the urge to kiss the masked stranger passionately on the lips.
