Another One

"*DJ Khaled voice*...yes folks....she’s done it again. I do not appreciate the author brilliantly writing these books and having the audacity to not continue writing them forever. Yes I want a chapter 147. Okay...I know I sound crazed, seriously though, this was another great book. The PERFECT enemies to lovers story. The author literally brought Tory to life, I’m honestly not convinced he’s not real *sits in deep contemplation*. He is 100% a piece of sh*t, but you can’t help but love him and root for him from the shadows (no pun intended 🤭). Emma is goodness personified and Mael isn’t as much of a stick in the mud as Tory would have you believe lol. I loved how all the characters were written. They weren’t dull or lacking depth. The real world references were hilarious as well, cue the fella named Taylor Swift lmao. I would have liked to read at least a chapter or two about the conflict/battle with the queen (wink wink, I won’t spoil it for readers) and about Tory learning the truth that Oberon shared with Emma about his father. I think that would’ve added to their unconventional but predestined love story, like father like son right? Less of a complaint than a missed opportunity but I’m still very content with the story as is. Emma being of two realms would really make for an interesting future. Hopefully there will be a part two, ever the optimist nowadays 😪. Anyway, well done author, another top notch read. Also hoping that Mael gets his own story, that should be fun(ny) 😅. Also also, wondering how things are with Meira, Oberon and Pieter....do I smell the beginnings of a reverse harem? Okay, I’m done. If you’re reading this, just stop and read the book. And just read everything else while you’re at it. It’s worth it. And if none of that convinced you, the smut should absolutely sway you 😉."

The Dishonest Fae

"I really enjoyed reading this story. Found the storyline well balanced and not excessive or forced. It was a pleasure to read your work. Hoping to read Mael's story soon. Perhaps find him a sassy mate to counter his laid back personality 😉"

cheeky

"what a pleasant surprise this was! tory really was annoying but somehow you made him so lovable and charming(not an easy feat!). the contrast of him and emma was a sweet dichotomy. the constant push and pull between their upbringings, values, and morals. seeing the world primarily through the eyes of someone bitter and jaded, like tory, was a fun perspective to explore. his brother, mael, was a surprisingly refreshing character. although he was younger, he was the more responsible and reserved one and it was nice to see he just wanted the best for his people and brother without hurting more innocents. wonderful ending💝"

A pleasant surprise

"I don't usually read fantasy books, but the plot captured my attention. I liked how the overall pace was very light, despite dealing with complicated themes, making it a more enjoyable read. Even for someone unfamiliar with the genre, I had no trouble understanding the plot or what the characters were talking about. It was a simple read and can serve as a gateway for anyone who is starting to get interested in fantasy with a touch of mature romance. It had a good dose of smut, but not to the point of being distracting. My favorite aspect of the story was that both protagonists had flaws and occasionally said or did questionable things, which made them very relatable. Now I'm hoping for a book about Mael meeting his mate!"

Amazing

"I love the complexity of the characters. Doesn’t feel like a reused story line that’s been wrote one too many times. In love with this book! Very good! "

Scrumptious

"I love the duality of the warring sides of the characters and the war, and how it's so true but not truly depicted enough. "

The Dishonest Fae

"I love that this story is told from the point of view of a self centered, selfish fairy prince who is dishonest in his pursuit of a beautiful, loving and caring half human, half fairy foreigner. Her honesty, integrity and caring nature are making it hard for him to continue with his usual “ love them and leave them “ lifestyle. It will be interesting to see what he does when faced with losing her and possibly his one chance at love and happiness. I feel those who love romance with a little spice and the adventure of different lands will love Ms Davies novels👏"

Good Read

"I've read the first one and a half chapters so far. What initially drew me in was the book cover. As I started reading, I really started to enjoy the book. Tory and Emma have so much personality, so different, and very distinct and the author does a good job of showing that in the pages of the book. There's a lot of information that's just there, and not really explained, that I feel would confuse someone if they were new to the fantasy genre, so im hoping that there is better explanations to certain things as the book progresses. For instance, rather than just stating Tory has on a glamor spell, perhaps explain what that means and give a brief backstory on how he's used it other ways, to allow people to understand what that is. I, personally, only know what a glamor spell is from my experience playing DnD. When it comes to grammar and punctuation, its mostly good. However, there are some mistakes. I noticed in one paragraph, you have both characters speaking in that paragraph. There are a few words that are the wrong tense of the word used for the POV of the narration. A few missing commas here and there, and a few sentences that aren't grammatically correct as full stand alone sentences. I also noticed the use of the word "it" quite a bit. For example "She waved her hand over it." As a sentence, its a bit strange and slightly amateur to read. Perhaps adding more detail, or even rephrasing the sentence to explain what "it" is, as to avoid using the word so much and allowing the story narration to flow better. Overall, an excellent read so far, and I am very excited to finish reading this when I have the time"
