What in the Stockholm syndrome?
"Clearly a gifted writer with a way with words. The story starts off great. But the weakness in accepting the unacceptable - which maps the rest of the storyline and plot is unforgivable. Women are more than emotional beings that can be manipulated and placated at will. Actions have consequences. Manipulation, Marital rape and familial homicide cannot be justified or remedied by 'love'. It's a lie sold by tradition - we should not endorse it. However it is spinned, whether he would die for her or not, she is not safe in that space. She will never be seen human - always an object, always a thing - whether worshipped as an idol or bent like steel, she will never have her own will, mind, or choices outside the man's. And when she's no longer relevant, when his interest shifts or his obsession evolve, she'll cease to exist - literally and/or figuratively. A prisoner for life - a pitiful existence and an unfair space to bring a child into. The end doesn't justify the means. It shouldn't. "
