Summary

"What can one do if they don't feel deserving of love," Edgar thought to himself as he lay on his plush, hide couch one evening. The weather outside was still but icy, the day having been claimed by the setting of the sun. He continued to ponder behind the meaning of the thought he'd just had, knowing full well where it stemmed from. This unshakable thought that he had, had for days on end continued to plague his mind, unwavering in its place, fixated at the core of his soul. The sound of the sea was shrill and demanded acknowledgment of all who were in earshot as it rhythmically washed over the sand, the swathes of waves crashing, continuing to remind Edgar that he was still present, persistent in the world that he was in and furthermore lulling his restless heart to sleep.
