Chapter 1 Saturday movie night .
It was a cool October night on a Saturday and ruby was so excited to watch a movie with max in the living room and they had already made popcorn to watch the movie with .
Casey
ruby: ok max grandma is in the backyard and we can watch our movie in peace. What should we watch?. Max: a Horror movie ! Max smiled sheepishly. Ruby : No ! Ruby yelled her voice carried and then grandma thought the worst and came rushing in just then!.
Grandma: is everything ok for christ sake i heard so much screaming ! What are you two doing ?!. Ruby: Nothing we were just getting ready to watch a movie thats all im sorry grandma!. Ruby felt the room go silent and then grandma spoke. Grandma: you know you two are not aloud to watch any R rated movie period i dont wanna hear it i dont want to see it your my babies and you will not watch this filth !!. Ruby : no no grandma we wont we will watch a disney movie !. Casey Grandma : ok please yell if you need anything i will be outside enjoying some tea and reading a good book and making my grocery list !. Grandma stared at ruby and then she stared at max and then she went outside on the patio turned on the light and shut the door behind her she was very skeptical but went back to her business anyway. Ruby breathed a sigh of relief and then sat down and turned on the tv Casey Ruby: ok max we are not going to watch a horror movie grandma will punish us and then no more toys !!. Max : Ruby please please please ! Max begged all The while holding up a copy of the scream DvD the 1996 one. Ruby: ok ok fine but you cant leave halfway threw the movie and you cant tell grandma this movie is rated R for adults you cant tell grandma or we will be in so much fucking shit !!. Casey Ruby carefully put in the cD and then the movie began playing the opening scene where cassie was getting murderred started playing and then both max and ruby sat there in eachothers arms and froze in fear knowing if they screamed grandma would come running in and kick thier ass .
Max: ruby im so scared should we keep watching ?
Ruby: yes yes lets keep watching i hear it’s a theiller its too bad loiuse died she would love this crap!.
Ruby and max then continued on to the scene where we meet both sidney and tatum when they are at the schoolyard and they were talking about the murder of Steven orth and Casey becker . Later the movie got bloodier and bloodier then ruby was about to shit herself and then she said ok enough fuck thats enough!!!. I cant fucking deal with this!. Ruby turned off the dvd player and pull the cd out and hid it in the couch.
Max: ruby are we gonna be ok ! Im not sure i can sleep after what we just saw im losing my mind here.
Ruby: Yes max stop worrying we just need to go have some desert warm mill brush our teeth and go to bed . Im gonna go tell grandma goodnight and then upstairs you go !.
Ruby said goodnight to grandma and then took max upstairs he was too frightened to move so she had to drag him there.
Ruby and max went upstairs to bed after dessert and tossed amd turned and Ruby woke up in a cold sweat not being able to easily breath from something that was a bad dream. Was did they just see why did she amd max have the burning notion to disobey thier elder their sweet grandmother that was just looking out for them ?
