Chapter 1
Hi my name is Nevaeh and I am 18 years old. I lived with my adoptive parents happily until we got to know about my elemental powers fire, nature ,air ,water and ice which was dangerous and I was taught to hide it and was not allowed to use it yet I still practiced my powers everyday without telling them and learned how to control and use it. At that time we got to know about celestial beings of heaven and hell known as angles and demons who were trying to rage war against us for unknown reasons.A month ago, everything was fine until I got to know that I was adopted I was devested and heartbroken I ran away from home and ignored my parents calls and texts begging to come home to not leave them and stay with them. After some days in search of me my parents got in a car accident after hearing about their car accident I ran barefoot on the road to meet them at hospital. When I saw them barely breathing I was shattered and blamed myself for their car accident,yet still they wanted to see me I went to them and knelt infront of them and said sorry multiple times my father called me Nev(Nevaeh) and told me it's not your fault we will be okay and go home together but inside we all knew that it was impossible for them to survive and so I made a promise to them that I will take care of my grandmother and my sisters shortly after promising them they died and left me a gold necklace saying Naveah. At their cremation ceremony I began to cry and after some time my crying turned into sobbing yet I still remembered my promise and began searching for job after days of searching and giving interviews I saw a poster saying recruiting warriors I called them and asked how much will you pay, the recruiter replied 1 lakh rupees, my phone slipped from my hand and I shouted 1lakh rupees!!. In a hurry I beagan to pick my phone and asked him the address the recruiter warned me that it's a dangerous job yet determined to fulfill my promise I told him to send me the address and he told me to come tomorrow morning. Knowing my grandmother wouldn't let me go I left a note to them and came to the given address there a lady was waiting and asked me a bunch of questions and gave me to sign papers that if something happened to me it was at my own risk after reading paper and signed it the lady gave me a potion that made me dizzy and loose consciousness. After some time that felt days I woke up and found myself in an ancient temple. In panick I looked here and there suddenly my eyes landed on my bestfriend Evelyn I went to her and at the same time she saw me and in sync we asked eachother what are you doing here? She said you reply first I said no you reply first after some time of fighting she replied my parents wanted me ro become a warrior like them and I replied I came here to fulfill my promise. Sone time of chatting, later we went to a guard and asked him what happens here he told us it is a very ancient temple in which we train warriors and battels between celestial beings and humans happens at the centre of the temple which is said to be connected with the gates of heaven and hell. We asked the guard what we will do, he answered first there will be health checkup and if passed you will have to pass multiple tests. After some checkups we both passed. Present time today is our first test.
