1 - Raze
For the first time, in a really fucking long time, the club house was silent. Sitting in what once used to be Bank’s office and now it was mine, my eyes were going over the finance report our treasury had given me.
“Fuck sake,” I groaned, running my hands down my face.
“Pres, erm.” I looked up at Mack, taking my hands off my face.
“What?” I barked back at him, I couldn’t get two minutes fucking peace. He chuckled nervously, checking his watch.
“Think you have somewhere to be,” he trailed off.
“Fuck!” I shouted, after checking my own watch, Mack behind me as we ran down the back stairs, towards our bikes out front.
“Raze chill, can’t start without ya,” he joked, and I turned to him, one leg on my bike.
“Tell that to Freya when she pulls my nuts out my throat,” I growled at him, his face dropping. The last time I looked at my watch it was early, barely even ten in the morning. Granted my brothers had all left the clubhouse, me throwing my hand up, my head still in papers I had no idea how to even understand. Now, it somehow had become four in the afternoon, and my bike roared to Grizzly’s farm, nearly falling off as I got off, Mack out of breath behind me. My initial plan was to at least get in the fucking shower but that had well and truly passed. The outside of the barn was decorated, little lights hanging from each side to the left, bikes as far as the eye could see.
As I burst into the barn, every head turned to me, eyes burning my skin.
“Get him a fucking napkin,” Banks ordered someone, and I came to the front of the barn, fanning my black t-shirt by the neck. Fuck I was sweating.
“Thanks,” I smiled at Jessica, before wiping my face. “Sorry,” I turned to the crowd, all of us, my brothers, the ones that loved Freya nearly as much as I did. “Does she know?” I asked Banks, his face stern.
“Does she know? Use your fucking brain, she’s been sitting in Grizzly’s bedroom for twenty minutes,” he hissed at me, and I put the napkin into my black jeans pocket, having to take the shit on this one.
“I lost track of time,” I rushed out, ignoring a few laughs from my brothers. Not a lot of things made me panic, not a lot of things made me scared but upsetting Freya, on today of all days, terrified me, my heart still racing.
“Grizz!” Banks shouted and he stood in front of the barn, pulling my arm to face him. Now I was truly shitting it, a feeling I had attempted to push down all week, pretending it wasn’t there, because I didn’t panic, I was fucking Raze, President of the Knights Peoria chapter motorcycle club. Right now, however as I heard the barn doors open and the slow music play, my stomach fell out of my ass.
“Relax,” Banks whispered, knowing me too well and I couldn’t help myself, turning my body to the side, my smile huge and my heart nearly crashing out of my chest. She looked so beautiful, her dark chestnut hair was in a long braid, down one side of her chest, her brown eyes staring at me and me alone. Freya’s dress was to the floor, lace across the chest and cuddled all of her curves. For us, she probably looked completely different to our normal brides, with no boots and black lace but she was Freya, and it suited her perfectly.
“Wow,” I breathed out as she finally got to me, handing her white lily bouquet to Mindie, her sitting at the front next to Mitch.
“You’re late,” Freya spat out, not very quietly and I heard some sniggering from the crowd.
“Baby girl, I am so sorry,” I told her, not much else to say. Freya looked at me up and down, finally coming back to my face. Her eyes scanned every one of my features and I licked my bottom lip, grabbing her hand and hoping my shockingly good looks would reduce how pissed off she was.
“Banks,” Freya said, her eyes still on me. I moved slightly to face her, Freya grabbing my other hand.
“Ladies and gentlemen!” Banks shouted, his voice high and it made me chuckle, Freya’s face still blank.
“Baby girl,” I whispered, my hand going to her cheek.
“Today Raze and Freya stand before their chosen family, to bind their souls and lives!” Banks told the crowd, and I kept my eyes on Freya, stroking her soft skin with my thumb. As I took a step forward, the edges of her perfect mouth finally turned upwards. The crowd went wild as Banks stopped, I think I even heard a gun go off, making me look up, chuckling at Grizzly.
“Raze, do you take Freya to be beside you, through everything, do you promise to protect her and fight for her?” Banks asked me and I quickly wiped a tear from Freya’s cheek, her eyes burning into my soul.
“I do,” I said firmly, and she finally smiled, my hand on the side of her neck. The moment Banks started talking, all my nerves were gone. All I wanted to do now was finally marry Freya, get these vows done and enjoy our life together. For me, none of this made any difference, Freya would be my wife regardless, but I knew for her, she wanted a ceremony, she wanted to wear the white dress and the rest of it and, I would give this woman the fucking world.
“Do you Freya, take Raze to stand with you and never let you go?” Banks asked and she opened her mouth slightly, looking at the crowd and finally back to me.
“Baby girl?” I raised my eyebrow, any fucking time today Freya.
“I do,” she responded, after the longest pause, the crowd sighing in relief.
“You’re a bitch,” I whispered, and she laughed, her smile wide and my arms now around her waist, one hand on her ass.
“Rings please Grizz?” Banks said and I kept my eyes on Freya, my hand out as Grizzly dropped her ring into my palm. “These rings are a promise, a bond that is forever,” Banks said, and I pulled Freya’s hand to me, pushing the ring onto her finger. It was simple, how she wanted it, white gold all around. Her engagement ring made up for it, which would be nestled above her wedding. Grizzly handed Freya my ring and I moved my other hand to the back of her head as she pushed the ring onto my finger. Mine was all black, exactly how I wanted it.
“I love you Raiden,” Freya whispered, looking up at me and I nearly burst, grabbing her face with both my hands. It was a strange feeling, almost one of being complete. We were officially a pair, having a bond that only the club could ever match up to.
“I fucking love you Freya,” I grinned at her, and she giggled, her hand wrapped around my wrist.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I introduce to you, Mr. and Mrs. Raze Wolfe!” Banks shouted and I slammed my lips onto Freya’s, hearing the screams and shouts of my brothers, their families and in turn mine. My heart was pounding as I got quicker with my tongue, forcing her mouth open more, her hand gripping my cut, almost pulling my feet away from me.
“Raiden,” Freya panted, my lips moving from hers.
“Let’s fucking party!” Banks screamed and I picked Freya up by her ass, her hands on my shoulders as she looked down at me, her eyes almost sparkling.
“Oh my god! Put me down!” She shrieked and I flipped her over my shoulder, feeling her chest shake in laughter.
“Grizzly, turn the BBQ on!” Mack shouted and I slapped Freya’s ass, the crowd going out into the perfect afternoon sun.
