Summary

Vegas. City of Sin. Lights glow through the night— But so do monsters. Not all of which have grotesque, volatile faces. Some wear tattoos and stalk their prey through causal glances and a quick text to another. This story is woven with blood, pain, trauma, and tears. Did I mention the trauma? I hope you like yours spiked with powers and drugs. Harmony— A girl with shadows, both mentally and physically, is held under the iron thumb of her Father. Richard Blight. A drunken mess of a man with a power that let him own her. Sell her. Everything can be bought— Cigarettes, booze, weed, his daughter. As long as the price is right, he'll loan her to you for a night. As long as she doesn't come back in a body bag, anything is on the table. Fae— A man. Random teleportation. A quick wit and mind reading. Did I mention he's immortal? Like, fall in a vat of acid, keep regenerating until he finally teleports back out type. And he's probably older than dirt. Hiroshi— Once royal guard, now ashamed and alone in a strange city. Brought here by a mochi thief with glowing blue portals. At least here, the wind blows stronger. Adam— Mochi thief. Comedy extraordinaire. Always hungry. But his past is riddled with burns and scars no one else can see. Not because they healed, but because he never takes off his hoodie. What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas. Unless, perhaps, it randomly teleports into the Ocean. These four become an unlikely family, staying in a Mansion you'd probably see on some Horror film from the 80's. With all kinds of powers, come all kinds of responsibilities. Or, the ability to not give a damn. But beyond the city. Beyond the glances of onlookers, a threat looms that just might qualify as God material.
