Review of a fast-paced fantasy
"If you enjoy dark fantasy with fun magic systems, this one’s for you! From the moment the portal opens and the other dimension intrudes on our world, you’re thrust into vivid battles and strange creators. I found myself invested early on, wondering how the protagonists would escape the mess she's in. Here is the more technical review, I like it when it's specific :D Style: I liked that you hit the ground running and it's fast pace, you don't have time to get bored. The situations pack enough punch to set the tone – 5/5 Story: The stakes are clear and the setting is fun, though a better description of the surroundings to help the reader picture the scenes would help. Some passages skim over environment or mood where a little more detail would have increased the tension– 4/5 Grammar: Pretty good, I found no typos or mistakes during my read. Even in action scenes the sentence structure stays clean – 5/5 Character: Distinct roles and personalities, but I would also have liked that the intros to the characters were smoother, not as sudden. – 4/5 Overall, I'd recommend this fun read for those who are fans of speed when getting into the plot. "
