Chapter 1 - Dominion Is Begining

The Royal Scribe wrote the following in the royal ledger with his brown feathered pen: " April 9th. A son was born to the King Kochnar of Korhanlık. The baby is perfectly healthy, everything is as it should be. He is named Urungu. Long live Urungu." As the royal scribe writes these words, celebrations were taking place outside. And he has just realized these sounds. The royal scribe Bilge, with his old and wrinkle body, stands up and starts watching these celebrations from the edge of the window. Bilge looked up at the sky and thought, "Today there is a half moon and stars illuminating the sky. Maybe, the moon is half but it could be time the complete of the fate. Anyway, it's time to rest for now."

~ 21 years later~

The people were covering the whole of Korhanlık with loud voices saying: "May the ember be with you, may it be your path, may it never go out". The people were filled with pain because King Kochnar was heading the east. Shebnem, the new queen of the Kıyım kingdom, wanted to hold the entire east captive and rule. Queen Shebnem had become a major threat to the Korhanlık. King Kochnar then decided to fight to protect his kingdom and temporarily handed it over to Prince Urungu. The gates of the kingdom closed and the voices faded. Prince Urungu and Bilge watched the king and the soldiers go from the top of the palace. Prince Urungu turned to Bilge with a worried look.

“Is what they say true?”

“What is true, Prince?” asked Bilge.

“Queen Shebnem, are the legends told about her kingdom true?”

“The Kıyım Kingdom is shrouded in mystery, Prince,” said Bilge.

“Do we have a chance of winning?”

“God knows what that is. May the ember be with them, Prince,” said Bilge.

May the ember be with them.” Urungu repeated.

And Urungu just wished him luck and stopped watching.

As Urungu toured the kingdom with his closest friend, Koshtash, he saw that the people were genuinely worried. They were right; their king had gone to distant lands, and no messenger bird had visited Korhanlık for two weeks. Koshtash is Urungu's aide, younger brother, and closest friend. Urungu always trusts Koshtash. Koshtash turned to Urungu and said, "Brother, are we ready for anything?"

Urungu replied, "Of course, we were born in fire. Look at the fire and lava around us, fire is invincible. We are born in fire, we live victoriously, brother. We haven't received all this training in vain. We are ready until our last blood evaporates to protect the kingdom and our family."

Koshtash looked down with a sad look. Urungu said with a condescending smile, "Don't worry, our soldiers are ready and strong. With a single command, they are all ready to fight in any event. We've been protecting our kingdom for three months, Koshtash, and we're preparing for this."

Koshtash's trembling lips let out the words, "Brother, I'm afraid this is the first time we haven't heard from our father in such a long time.

Urungu said, "Don't be such a coward, Koshtash. You are the Prince of Korhanlık, and you are now a young lad of 16. And who knows, maybe... just then,

The soldier at the gate shouted, "A single horse is coming!"

Urungu said, "Open the gates!"

He entered the gates on horseback, holding a chest in its hand. The people watched with curious eyes. Koshtash ran to open the chest. Before Urungu could say, "Don't open it here!" he opened it and was shocked. What Urungu saw was the skull of his father, King Kochnar, with ram horns stuck in his eyes. The people screamed and wailed, wondering what to do. Urungu shouted angrily, "Get ready, we're leaving!"
