Feelings are weaknesses, and I don’t allow weaknesses. The world is ruthless and unforgiving. And the only way to survive is to become as ruthless as the world is. They made me feel scared, small, and unwanted. But I made myself so big that they cannot even dream of touching my shadow. Discipline is power. And power is essential for survival. Love isn’t something I’m meant to experience or am even capable of. I live alone, thrive alone. There is no place for anyone else in my cold, dark world. The world I carefully curated, where there isn’t a single outside voice allowed. Yet, I’m restless. Peace is a privilege I’m not blessed with. Every breath I take is a price I pay for the sins I never committed. But this is my reality. And this is my truth.

Love is the only thing capable of miracles. Love transcends space and time. It makes life worth living and probably worth dying. I am forever stuck between my need to be a strong, independent girl and my wish to experience a once-in-a-lifetime whirlwind romance. But those are just dreams. And the reality is, there are no knights in shining whatever. You pick yourself up after you fall. Tend to your own wounds, and wipe your own tears. Yet I hope, because hope is the only thing stronger than fear. And in the absence of hope, life’s just a deep, dark tunnel, with no light whatsoever. So I dream and I hope and I pray that my truth and reality could maybe meet my dreams.
