He slammed me against the cold wall of his office—one hand gripping my waist like a vice, the other wrapped around my neck, fingers pressing just hard enough to steal my breath.
He was too close. Dangerously close. His body hovered over mine, and I could feel the heat of his breath against my lips. I barely reached his shoulders, but in that moment, I felt completely overpowered—trapped in the pull of something I knew we shouldn't be.
