Prologue

It was a normal day for him. For every four years he’s been coming here looking at the girl he once loved. But nothing changed. She didn’t look how sad he was nor did he say how he still missed her.

“I missed her too, you know.” A voice said from behind him. He turned around to see his friend crunching down in the ground with flowers.

“I know. You were like a brother to her.” Keith replied smiling sadly at his wife’s gravestone. He also crunched down putting on flowers and a card.

“How’s Angel?’’ Nathan asked looking at his friend with sadness. Cause one thing he knew, Keith loved her wife more than his life.

“She’s asking about her mother. She thinks mama’s waiting for her in somewhere. She even wrote a card for her.” Keith chuckled remembering his daughter’s exact words.

“Everything will be alright. I’ll see you later, man.” With a pat in the shoulder Nathan was gone.

Keith looked at the gravestone again.

“I love you.” He whispered.

Maybe this was time to say the truth to his daughter.

“Papa!” A girl yelled laughing at Keith when he reached home. Keith equally grinned to see his four year’s old daughter.

“You didn’t disturb your grandpa too much, did you?’’ Keith asked the only girl who was in his life now.

“No. Grandpa even let me eat ice-cream.” She giggled. Laughing at the girl Keith took her in his shoulder and walked upstairs to her room.

“Papa, did you give the card to mama?’’ She asked innocently looking at Keith with wonder.

“Yes, as a matter of fact I did.” Her face lightens up to hear the news. “So she’s coming for us?’’

Keith gulped and shook his head. “Baby, do you remember you asked about your mama?’’

“Yes! I want to know about her!” She giggled more jumping on her bed.

“Well...I’m going to tell you about her...all of her.” Keith took a breath so he didn’t end up choking. It was hard for him to talk about her. It was easy to feel the pain inside. But to share it with his daughter was almost impossible for him.

“Papa...did you forget about her?’’ His daughter asked sadly looking away.

’No baby, never! I’ll start telling you.” He took a breath again.

“Everyone has an angel. You think you know them only to be realized they were invisible yet stayed always with you. Some comes when you needed them, some comes without knocking. She came to my life like a tornado. But instead of air or flood, she came shattering glasses in my life-"
