The Two Besties – Joy & Mariam (Online Besties Story)
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Mariam who joined a new school. Everything around her felt new and different. The classrooms were unfamiliar, the teachers were new, and most of all, she didn’t know many people yet. Mariam hoped she would find someone kind to talk to and maybe even make a good friend.
One day, Mariam met a girl named Joylyn. Her nickname was Joy. Joy seemed very friendly and cheerful. She started talking to Mariam, asking her questions and making her feel comfortable in the new school. Mariam felt happy because someone had taken the time to speak to her. From that moment, they slowly started becoming friends.
As days went by, they talked more often. They shared stories about their lives, their favorite things, and their experiences at school. Soon their friendship grew stronger. Even when they were not at school, they still stayed connected. They began having online meetings and chats, where they talked, laughed, and spent time together. Because of this, they became online besties.
Their friendship became very special to them. They could talk about anything—school, homework, funny moments, or even their dreams for the future. Every online meeting made their bond stronger.
Over time, other friends also became part of their group. There was Althea, who was kind and fun to be around. But sadly, the next year Althea left the school. Even though she was gone, the memories they shared together stayed in their hearts.
Later, more friends joined the group too, like Manyatha and Mayra. Their friend circle became bigger, and there were even more laughs and happy moments. The group supported each other and made school life more enjoyable.
However, after some time, another change happened. Joy moved to morning classes, while Mariam stayed in her usual class. Because of this, they did not get to see each other often anymore. Mariam sometimes missed the days when they could meet easily at school.
But even though they didn’t meet as much in person, their online friendship continued. They still talked through messages and online meetings, just like before. They kept sharing stories, jokes, and memories.
Mariam realized something important: true friendship doesn’t depend on seeing someone every day. Even if friends are far away or in different classes, they can still stay close through communication and care.
And so, Mariam and Joy remained best friends—online besties who stayed connected no matter what changed around them. Their friendship was full of memories, laughter, and kindness, and it continued to grow stronger every day. 🌟
