"This story is very intense and every chapter makes you stop and think. The plot is deep but left open enough for you to draw your own conclusions and opinions. The one clear thing in this story is the relationship between Damien and Tori. It’s not perfect or all rainbows and unicorns. There is uncertainty, doubt and misunderstanding but there is also understanding, patience and being quietly present. Nothing in this story is easy or straightforward accept maybe the friendship between Damien and Leona. I love the journey Damien is on now with Tori compared to the one he was on. Amazing story author. 💞🩷💞"
A truly wonderful story
"I loved this story from start to finish. It feels real and authentic. The details of the legal stuff are so well done as well as the balance between the outer plot of the case, the Damien's internal arc and the romance. This is not your typical mm romance story, this is so much more. If you feel like a calm (but never boring) story which will make you think and feel in such a strong way that you'll have to put it down at times to just sit with it would be something for you, I highly recommend this book."

"An absolutely fascinating read! Every description is detailed and clear from the weather, the surroundings, to the love as it develops. I am not actually bothered by who did the murder, just fascinated by the personal and moral development of Damien and Tori that ensued from dealing with it. Glad the relationship with his stepson continued. Guess I will have to look to see more of your stories I might have missed. Well done."
I love all the layers
"Uncovering all the different layers is like finding more and more unexpected treasure. During the first chapter I thought the mc was a bit 2D, calculated and uncaring, but it turns out that was deliberate and soon I got to know him as a very realistic, emotional being. The lawsuit/investigation part of the story is suspenseful and engaging and the moral dilemma gives the story weight. The best part is of course the heartwarming lovestory. I will definitely reread this novel at some point. "
