High-quality Medieval Fantasy
"I haven't read the whole story yet, but I already love it! The plot keeps you breathless from the very beginning. What I especially liked were the descriptions in the book: fight scenes, nature, etc. Everything is atmospheric and cinematic. It gave me the feeling of a good medieval epic fantasy. Adair is a perfect knight and king, the kind of character you want to follow and root for. I love how noble, just, and merciful he is. No wonder he draws people in as a natural leader. I recommend this story to everyone who likes The Lord of the Rings or Arthurian legends. You'll find the same vibes here."

"This was a wonderful tale of profound loss, grief and hopelessness and what happens when trust and compassion arrives from an unexpected source. I enjoyed the tentative then strengthening relationship between Adair and his goblin co-prisoners, and how both learned to set aside past prejudice and injustices to work for a common goal. Stories like this remind us of our strength and tenacity."
