Ever stop to look into her eyes and wonder why?
A deep blue abyss that you can’t escape when she locks onto you.
You find yourself intertwining your fingers together and don’t know why.
Sky sparkles with fireflies above, and you feel your heartbeat.
Breathes coming in faster and faster and fear creeps into your soul.
Your hand holds onto hers harder, afraid if not she’ll be ripped away forever.
The sting of the thought of never seeing that smile again or hear that siren song of her sweet honey voice makes you ache and twitch.
When she moves, you never notice, and she is towering over you with a look of concern.
A million words are passed in a single glance looking at her face.
She boops your nose and gives you a peck on the cheek and the flush rushes through your body as she lays back down as if knowing your very thoughts.
Time passes by, and she squeezes your hand, and with a glance from her, you know its time.
Nothing good lasts forever...but when something good does come, embrace it as if it will never happen.
