Chosen
It was one of those rainy nights -quiet, cold ,crawling with unease...
"What a rainy night!" I mutter as I clutche my umbrella tighter.
"Huh...something feels odd as if someone is watching me". I felt an odd vibe around me and start walking faster. Suddenly I notice a black cat infront of me and all my worries wash away and I crouch down to pet the cat. At first the cat purrs softly and the next moment she hisses and runs away. I also get up only to bump into someone.
A tall, mysterious man with a cunning smile is looking down at me. I look into his eyes and step aside, "sorry sir, my bad" and I try to walk away but suddenly feel a tug on my wrist.
"What a pretty lady like you walking alone late at night in this weather?" he says holding my wrist.
"Oh I was just running some errands ,now if u will excuse me" I said as I try to walk away. "What's the hurry! Don't you want to know who I am?" He chuckles. I get a bit uncomfortable. Suddenly someone wraps a cloth over my nose, I try to scream for help -
but everything goes black.
Not a bad start, but this chapter is too short. 😕
