O people of loyalty, O my noble guides,
We stand firm upon your path.
Though we differ, the hearts of love
Drink from the same river of guidance.
O my guiding light, Tufail of beauty,
Your love became my soul’s connection.
Your secret is a spring, your union is light,
You are the doorway of hope for my spirit.
O Naqshband, the faithful guide,
Your love for the Prophet is the light of certainty.
Your secret flows like the moonlight,
And in my body is a longing undeniable.
O dear, passionate Shādhilī,
Your lessons guide and your dhikr is light.
Your gatherings are a source of union,
They carry me to Allah in every state.
O lover, follow what is good,
Let your heart yearn for the truth.
Our shaykhs are brothers on the path,
We love them without deep divisions.
