Author's Note
So… this all started with a dream.
One random night, I dreamed of a stranger. I don’t remember his face, funny how that works, but I do remember his presence. His body. The way he moved. The way he made me feel, even in that hazy, half-lost way dreams tend to leave behind. That first chapter? That’s the dream, more or less. Everything after that? Pure imagination and boredom.
I didn’t plan a storyline. I didn’t outline arcs or obsess over plot holes or timelines. I just started writing over the weekend and thought, “Why not turn this into something?”
This isn’t meant to be some perfectly constructed novel. There’s no meticulous attention to detail or worldbuilding. I just let the story grow, layered it with magic, romance, a bit of chaos, and characters I ended up caring about way more than I expected to.
If you’re reading this and thinking, “Wait… that doesn’t line up,” or “Hmm, that detail changed,” you’re probably right. But if you made it this far, I’m grateful you gave it a chance. And if it made you feel anything, even for a moment then I’m glad I shared it.
If it’s not your thing, that’s okay too. Just don’t hate on it. It’s not that deep. It’s just a dream I once had… and then everything else that followed.
So here goes nothing.
