Chapter 2 separation by fate

Chapter 2: Separation by Fate

[FLASHBACK]

The story begins at the very beginning—when the boy was born.

It was a stormy night. Inside a small city hospital, joy turned to tragedy. A mother gave birth to twin boys, but the celebration quickly faded. The parents, overwhelmed by poverty, realized they could only afford to raise one child.

Narrator:

> “One child? What does that mean? You’re probably wondering, right?”

Yes, it's hard to believe—but it’s true. In desperation, the parents left one of the twins behind at the hospital and vanished without a trace, trying to find peace elsewhere.

The abandoned infant cried in the quiet nursery. Doctors and nurses tried to find the parents—but it was too late. The couple had already left the city.

Just then, a man entered the hospital. He was mourning—his newborn son had been stillborn. Seeing the abandoned baby, he stepped forward and said:

> “I’ll raise this child.”

Wanting to comfort his grieving wife, he took the child home. The hospital agreed.

But what no one knew was—this man was a feared gangster, ruling the dark side of the city.

And so, the twin brothers were separated by fate—one raised in light, the other in shadows.

---

Years passed…

One child grew up in a peaceful home. He played with toys, learned how to write with a pen, and smiled freely.

The other child grew up around guns, taught to shoot and survive. Violence became his language.

By the time they were in 8th grade, the boy raised in peace had fallen in love and confessed his feelings to a sweet classmate.

At the same time, the gangster’s son had already taken 50 lives.

One graduated, got a respectable job, and became a café manager.

The other rose to power as a ruthless gang leader, willing to kill for money—but with one rule:

> He never disrespected women.

---

Back at the Café…

The manager boy wasn’t performing well. He was distracted, always on his phone, talking to girls, and barely doing his work.

His boss had enough. But there was a problem: the boy had signed a 15-year contract and couldn’t quit or be fired easily.

So the boss made a dark decision—he contacted a hitman.

The hitman? The boy’s own twin brother—though neither of them knew the truth.

The boss gave the gangster a photo. When the hitman saw it, he paused.

> “Why does this guy… look exactly like me?”

Shaking the thought off, he accepted the job and traveled to the city.

---

The Setup…

The boss welcomed him nervously.

> Boss: “You’re here to kill the manager?”

> Gangster: “No. I’m here to kill the one who dared to trick me.”

He grabbed the boss by the throat, furious that he was sent to kill someone who looked exactly like him.

> “You lied. This guy… he looks just like me.”

The boss broke down. He handed over all the money and revealed the truth:

> “The manager is on weekend leave. He always visits the park around 6 in the evening.”

---

Weekend Evening…

The gangster waited in a car, hidden among trees near the park.

He saw the boy walking… alone.

Without hesitation, he started the engine, pressed the accelerator—and hit the boy with his car.

The boy was thrown to the ground.

But just as the gangster stepped out to confirm the kill… he saw her.

The same girl his twin had confessed to years ago. She was there—crying, running toward the scene.

A crowd began to form. People screamed. Phones came out. Someone was calling the police.

Panicked, the gangster got back in the car and sped away.

Chapter Ends

Narrator:

> “Will the girl accept the gangster’s love if he returns? Will the boy return in next chapter? What will happen when the parents discover the twins they've lost and raised separately? And most of all… does fate bring them together, or drive them further apart?”

Who knows…

The answers lie in the next chapter.
