Captivating story

"I really enjoyed this book. The story pulled me in with its intriguing mystery and the secrets hidden within the archives. I loved how the fantasy elements were woven into the story without taking away from the developing romance. Arielle is such a fun character to follow. I loved her curiosity, her confidence, and especially the fact that she doesn't seem particularly interested in following the rules 😂 Her interactions with Riven are definitely one of my favourite parts. Their banter gives the story so much personality, and I really enjoyed watching their dynamic develop. The mystery surrounding the stones, the ciphers and the rogue gargoyle plot kept me curious about what was going to happen next. There is a great balance between the romantic tension and the larger story unfolding around them. I also really enjoyed the writing. The descriptions made the world easy to picture, particularly the Archives of Stone, and the dialogue kept the chapters moving. Overall, this is a really enjoyable fantasy romance with an intriguing mystery, a strong female lead and a grumpy hero. "
