An Ocean Within

Some souls are like oceans — vast, misunderstood, and forever yearning for someone who dares to dive deeper than the surface.

They say the ocean is never alone,

Surrounded by stars, kissed by the moon’s tone.

Waves dance while lonely gulls cry above —

Yet even the ocean longs for love.

Salt clings to my soul like tears to skin,

A ship adrift in crowds and din.

They call my name but never me,

Only the shadow that they see.

The sea and I, we are the same —

So full of life, yet none to name.

A heart like water — deep and wide,

With wrecks of dreams I’ve tried to hide.

I stand in rooms of endless sound,

Yet nobody’s catching all around.

They drift through glass behind my gaze,

A tide of silence in my hollow days.

Quiet, but brave. Searching…

For someone who hears my voice in every wave

And sees the soul behind the storm.
