Erza walks down the staircase and into the throne room where her parents were, she spots a woman in a knight outfit. “mother... is this the new Knight?” Her mother nods “Yes and she is going to be placed right outside your door just incase something happens she’ll be the first to alert you and the first to help you.” Erza nods turning to the girl that looked about her age “Here com’n” Erza spoke and grabbed her hand leading her away.Once they both arrived in Erza’s room she sat on her bed “What’s your name?” Erza spoke looking up at the lady knight before her “Its Erica... may I ask why did you bring me into your room princess?” Erza sat up “I like getting to know new people... especially people who are going to be protecting me” Erica nods “Very well then, I should get to my place then” Erza grabs her armored arm “wait....stay....what’s the difference of going outside and staying here with me” Erica looked down at Erza’s hand on her own arm “Princess Erza that would not be very professional of me” Erza shook her head “I don’t care” Erica sighed “Princess I am only here to protect you from any dangers not to be your friend” Erica spoke as she pulled her arm away. Erza stood there a litte frown on her lips “I know but.... that doesn’t mean we can’t still talk... right?” “Princess may I please go back to work” Erica spoke her accent thick.Erza nods making Erica walk out to take her place. “What a very rude lady” Erza spoke and stood up getting ready for bed.

Erza was in the garden sat on the bench near the fountain a red rose in hand which still had some thorns in the stem. She sighed twirling it between her fingers and before she could react a thrown picks her thumb making her wince a little dropping the rose her head lowered looking at her bleeding thumb before she heard metal clattering against each other and her arm being grabbed, her head tilts up seeing Erica. “You know i thought I’d be protect you from people who are trying to harm you, not a little thorn of a fragile flower” Erica spoke wiping away the blood making sure the whole thorn was out and Erza wasn’t hurt anymore. “I apologize for such a little matter” Erza spoke making Erica shake her head “No need for an apology, it’s still my job to take care of you especially if your hurt” Erica let’s Erza’s hand go and she turns to walk away “wait!” Erza spoke out grabbing her arm “Please stay, I don’t have any care if your job is not to speak to me but... I want to speak to you” Erica nodded “What is it you wish to speak about princess” Erza sat on the bench expecting Erica to sit as well “I want to get to know you, I just never really see a lady knight” Erica sat down next to Erza “Well there is not much to know about me, I really am not as interesting as you Princess” Erza smiled “Nonsense I am sure you’re very interesting. I think it is interesting to see a woman who’s brave enough to become a knight when it is not very legal in many places” Erica turned to the fountain “My family is like any other, men are the strongest and women are the weakest, but I have never felt that way.” Erza nods “I believe that it is very brave of you to be something people are against” Erica turns and smiles “I do say I’m far stronger than any man” Erza cracked a little laugh “I’d definitely trust you more than any man” Erica ruffled her hair “And i’ll do better than my best to protect you princess.” They turned hearing people outside the castle gates “Oh I had completely forgotten, today I’m meeting the Prince of Aranor” Erica nods “Very well” Erica spoke and stood up “I should be going now” Erza stood up and nodded before walking off towards the gates.
