To my younger self

If I had the number to my younger self,

I would pick up the phone and say you're only 8,

You've been through a lot already grandparents die and you will get bullied but you'll be okay,

So listen hold your head high because you may feel like people notice your eyebrows look invisible but they don't,

Hold your head high because with confidence comes power so if someone says something ignore them,

You'll grow up and have many boyfriends,

Sadly in a years time ollie dies of old age,

You'll miss him and you'll cry but you'll accept it he died with a smile,

In 2024 great nan passes on march 19th exactly a week later great pap dies march 26th,

It'll be a Tuesday,

The funerals sad and you cry like A LOT but that's okay,

After you'll dance and it will feel normal,

Randomly you will burst into tears but that's okay,

A while later mum, mat and t will have mental breakdowns but there okay,

You will learn that you have autism, adhd, dyslexia, anxiety, insomnia, hypermobility and more but we learn to cope with it,

So if I could speak to her that's what I'd say.
