Chapter 1

There were six of us all together in this one room. We’d been planning this trip for ages and finally all the stars managed to line together for us. It was finally happening. After ten years of trying to make this work, I began making promises to myself that I wasn’t sure I could keep now. Besides, it was only the first night and I didn’t want to be the one to ruin the fun. Like I said, there were six of us. Four girls and two boys. We’d all been friends since we were thirteen. By sixteen we knew we needed at least one vacation together. Everyone got beyond busy after that. At twenty-six, we’d finally gotten it together and booked the trip. No one wanted to go out, so we were in one room playing games, smoking weed, eating edibles and drinking. Which, in hindsight, was probably a bad idea. Everyone was preoccupied and unfocused, but it was still one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time.

I’m Mila. I’m not too much of a drinker, but I do smoke and eat edibles. Right now, I was high off of an edible and it was only just starting to kick in. I was laughing at practically nothing and the cause for that was my best-friend Cassian, who was currently lying across my lap. He was drunk, making weird hand gestures, making us both laugh at it. Well, he was doing one of those deep belly laughs and it was so contagious that it triggered my own. Admittedly, we were probably just in our own little world and enjoying it.

Across from us, was my other best-friend Luna. She also ate an edible and apparently it was starting to kick in for her also. Her eyes were barely open as she laid on Amelia’s lap. They’d gotten together somewhere between nineteen and twenty-three. They seemed happy together and I was happy for them. Last of us, was Olivia and Brendan. They were also drunk and the ones basically forcing us to keep playing whatever game we had agreed on and already lasted too long. Clearly, everyone but Amelia was intoxicated.

“I’m getting sleepy Sunshine.” Cassian whispered so that I was the only one that would hear. It was probably pointless seeing as no one else was paying attention to us.

“I’m hungry, Moonlight.” I countered with a pout rubbing my hands through his long flowy hair. Cassian was mixed. He was a beautiful caramel coloring with bright hazel eyes that seemed to sparkle. His long curly hair felt like silk to me right now. His muscles were straining in his tight black t-shirt. I wanted to run my hand down those toned abs that were starting to peak through the bottom of his shirt, but we were sharing a room and I had to control myself.

“Help us out of this and I’ll order your favorite Sunshine,” he grinned, turning his head slightly to look up at me. I smiled down at him waiting for him to say it. “A meat-lovers pizza.” he teased, pulling out his phone and pulling up the number for our favorite pizza shop. I grinned before forcing him to stand up so that I could get up. Then I grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the room, bursting into laughter as soon as the door closed. “You cheated. That was too easy.” he pouted.

“A deal’s a deal, Moonlight.” I laughed as we headed towards our room. We weren’t too far from the others, only a couple of rooms away, but that had been the way we wanted it. If I was going to confess to these demons inside, I’d rather not have an audience for it.

By the time we reached the room, he was done ordering and my head was starting to spin. The edible had started to hit harder than I anticipated and I was swaying a bit. He’d caught on and although he was laughing at me, he still helped me into the room. The room was a very modest design of creams and browns. In the center sat two queen size beds draped in white sheets and the black blankets we’d brought from home. Right now, I was beyond grateful that we’d inspected the room before any thoughts of getting intoxicated. Showers had been taken and out of the way hours prior and we were already in our pajamas. The plan was a giant sleepover, but we knew our friends. Everyone was going to separate sooner or later. We were just first this time.

Across from our beds was a desk with a microwave and a dresser that held the TV. There was a mini-fridge that we’d filled with our own snacks and drinks to keep from spending so much money. There was also a cabinet or two meant for clothes, but held our chips and candy. Our clothes were still sitting in our suitcase which Cassian had pulled against the wall by the window on the furthest side of the room. He’d also brought his laptop and had plugged it up before we went to hang out with the others.

“What do you say to a movie Sunshine?” he slurred slightly. I raised my eyebrow at him, a little confused. Had he drunk more than I noticed?

“We can watch one, but who’s going to get the pizza Cas? We’re both intoxicated.” I giggled.

“One step ahead of you Mila. I already asked the people at the desk to bring it and paid for it over the phone. Just need a tip to give to whoever comes up.” His grin was wide, clearly proud of himself as I fished a few five dollar bills out of my wallet and handed it to him before going over to the fridge to get us each one of our favorite drinks. Just as I grabbed the drinks, there was a knock on the door. “Right on time.”

… … … … … …

The movie was only thirty minutes in, the pizza was half gone and our drinks long gone. The edible was at an all time high for me and I was starting to feel a pulsating beat deep in my nether regions. It didn’t help that he’d started back laying across my lap. I was starting to wonder if he could feel the heat coming through the shorts. I didn’t know how I would explain that. He knew when I was lying. I mean yes the treat was part of why my hormones were raging through my veins, but the main cause of it all was the fact that he was so close to me, touching me. Part of me had forgotten how touchy he could get once intoxicated. The other part was wondering how I could forget how I was when intoxicated. It felt safe to be like this with each other when it was over the phone, but now we were in person and I wasn’t sure what was going to happen.

“Are you sleepy Sunshine?” he asked as I forced my eyes to open and look at him.

“I’m just thinking, Moonlight.”

“About?”

“Well, honestly I’m wondering if you can feel that heat.” I blurted, feeling too light-weighted to be embarrassed.

“I can,” he sighed. “I can almost smell it too and fuck you smell good.” My whole body froze. I had no idea what to do or what to even say. He liked my smell down there?

“Cassian, please do-”

“I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it Mila. I’ve been sitting here trying to convince myself for the last thirty minutes not to shove my face deep in your pussy unless you ask me too. I’m losing control, but won’t do anything without your permission.”

What should I do? What should I do? Is one night of intoxicated induced fun really worth potentially ruining the friendship over? Well if I’m being honest, this moment was something that was always possible and being intoxicated only took away the fear. We’d talked about having sex before, but nothing like this. I wanted to say no, but my pussy was jumping in my shorts begging me to just give in already. Sighing, I let myself listen to the little voice that was usually too low for me to hear.

“Go ahead then.” I breathed so low I wasn’t sure that he heard me, but the way his head snapped in my direction, I knew he had.

“Are you sure? Like really sure, because once I start I’m not stopping until I hear you screaming my name from climax.” my pussy clenched so tight that I felt it in my stomach and I had to force my body not to double over.

“You promise?” I teased. A deliciously evil smirk planted itself on his face as he pushed himself up until he was facing me.

“I’ve kept every promise I’ve ever made to you Sunshine. This time will be no different.” Then his lips were on mine, his tongue trying to force itself into my mouth. I moaned as I allowed him entrance, bringing my arms up to hold him there for a moment more. I never thought kissing him could make me feel lighter than any amount of edibles I could eat. My back was hitting the bed before I could even register that this was really happening and then he was on top of me pulling my shorts down. I knew this night would be one to remember.
