Chapter 1"new beginning"...

*United We Stand*

The sun shone brightly on the first day of seventh grade, casting a warm glow over the bustling hallway. Jasmine, Nini, and Anna, who had been inseparable since fifth grade, walked into their new classroom, chatting excitedly about the year ahead. They had heard rumors about the toughest teachers and most challenging subjects, but they were ready to face whatever came their way.

As they took their seats, they noticed a new student sitting across from them. She had piercing green eyes and curly brown hair. This must be Loonah, the girl Lizzy had been talking about nonstop for weeks. Lizzy, their former best friend, had been acting strange lately, and the girls couldn't help but wonder what was going on.

"Hey, guys," Lizzy said, sauntering into the classroom, her eyes fixed on Loonah. "Look who's here." The girls exchanged wary glances, sensing trouble brewing. "Hey, Lizzy," Jasmine replied, trying to sound friendly. "What's up?" Lizzy's gaze lingered on Loonah before she responded, "Not much, Jaz. Just getting to know our new classmate."

Nini leaned over and whispered to Jasmine, "I don't trust her. She's been acting weird lately." Jasmine nodded in agreement, her eyes fixed on Lizzy. Anna, on the other hand, seemed oblivious to the tension, chatting away with their classmates.

As the teacher began roll call, the girls settled in for their first day of classes. Loonah seemed nervous, fidgeting with her hands as she introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Loonah," she said softly. "I'm new here." Lizzy snorted, "Oh, great. Another newbie who thinks they're so special."

The girls exchanged worried glances, sensing that Lizzy's behavior was about to cause some drama. They had been friends with Lizzy since elementary school, but lately, she had been acting increasingly possessive and controlling. They weren't sure what was going on, but they knew they had to be careful.

As the class continued, the girls couldn't help but wonder what the year had in store for them. Would they be able to navigate the ups and downs of seventh grade together, or would Lizzy's behavior tear them apart? They had always been a tight-knit group, but now they seemed to be drifting apart.

Lizzy's eyes seemed to bore into Loonah's skin, making her feel uncomfortable. "What's going on with Lizzy?" Nini whispered to Jasmine. "I don't know," Jasmine replied, "but I think we're about to find out."

What will Lizzy's next move be, and how will the girls respond?*United We Stand*
