INTRODUCTION PHASE
In the bustling corridors of Sir Henry Hospital , Delhi , Dr. Sahil, a diligent anesthetist in his thirties, is known for his encyclopedic knowledge of medicine but lacks of social finesse. Meanwhile , Haya in her twenties era from so called Gen-z generation but she is old school girl , works in the administration department , her days filled with managing paper work and apart from this she is preparing for PhD in management as well. Despite their respective roles, they've never truly interacted - until one day when Dr. Sahil needs some documents print for their own documentation process . A simple request for print turns into a WhatsApp share into something much more .
As days pass, Haya notices Sahil's presence more frequently at the hospital. A playful comment on her social media status ignites their first real conversation—a casual exchange that quickly evolves into a delightful digital back-and-forth filled with good mornings and goodnights. Both are from different religions—Haya from a Muslim background and Sahil from a Hindu family—which looms as an unspoken tension in their budding connection.
One particularly sleepless night, after exchanging texts until dawn breaks, they find themselves engrossed in deep conversations about life, dreams, and their contrasting worlds—Haya’s love for romantic novels against Sahil’s dedication to medical textbooks. As she hears his sleepy voice during an unexpected call after work, she feels her heart skip—a sensation she's only read about but never experienced.
Suddenly awash with emotions and uncertainty about what this means for them both culturally and personally, they linger together in silence—a moment stretched infinitely where time seems to pause. They glance at each other shyly before bursting into laughter at how surreal it all feels.
She realizes love can transcend boundaries if nurtured carefully—blooming like wildflowers between cracks in concrete. Their journey is just beginning; fraught with challenges but also brimming with hope as two hearts bravely intertwine despite societal expectations.
“Why don’t we have a pause button for very special moments?” she jokes one evening after another tender kiss under twinkling fairy lights outside cafés where they sip chai together; yet deep down both know life doesn’t come equipped with such buttons—it encourages spontaneity instead.
But i forgot this was the whole point-----which will reveal in the last phase of chapters .
