Et cette catastrophe naturelle porte le nom de Jacob. » Lorsque Luan quitte sa Thaïlande natale pour s’installer à Los Angeles, il n’a qu’un objectif en tête : conquérir Hollywood. Lors d’une audition pour un second rôle dans une série romantique, il est amené à donner la réplique à Jacob, un jeune acteur récemment propulsé sous les projecteurs. Leur alchimie inattendue séduit immédiatement les producteurs, qui décident de leur confier les rôles principaux. Problème : la série est sulfureuse, et Luan ne s’est jamais pensé attiré par les hommes. Pourtant, dès leurs premiers échanges, Jacob le trouble profondément. Charismatique et populaire, il se révèle aussi attentionné et d’une douceur désarmante. Tandis que le tournage les rapproche dangereusement et que les fans comme la presse à scandale s’en mêlent, la frontière entre le jeu et la réalité s'estompe. Jacob et Luan devront alors choisir : se protéger ou se brûler.
La Paramount préparerait le retour de Jacob Darcy sur le petit écran, malgré un scandale médiatique encore récent pour l’acteur.
