Chapter 1 Introduction of "HER"
Hello people ,
My name is Matilda.
I am an adult of 26 years old .
I am an entrepreneur and a successful woman. I work with my best friend Louisa and it's a dream to be successful in your career with your best friend by your side all along.
To be honest she's my journal in the flesh, basically she is the other version of me. We cannot live without a conversation everyday !Strangely she didn't give me a call. I wonder if something is up with her perfect life. Well today is sleep over day! Every first Tuesday of the month is a sleep over day where me ,Louisa with another friend of ours Jessica spend night together at each other's place in turns .Today is my turn, so I have to prepare supper for the night.
3rd and 4th June 20 x x ;1:45 a.m.
It was about 8 o'clock and I called Jessica Louisa a conference phone call .
Louisa didn't pick nor did she show up for the sleepover. Jessica and I had dinner and then we started ." Gossip session" .Ladies and gossip move hand in hand. We had lots of chunks to spit all about everybody ,including Louisa. She's just an emotional and quite sensitive person.
Once she slipped off the stage on the floor so badly that everyone laughed at her! To be precise we are too! She saw it and didn't act my buddy for 2 weeks !
It was 11:15 p.m. on my phone and Jessica suggested we play a game so we searched for board games and found one at last!
It was an unusual game like a board game had letters numbers yes or no stuff. Jessica mentioned it will be as
" Ouja board"something.She explained it as a game which actually played to connect with spirits .It was amazing to listen but the time appropriate that I have to refuse it .She insisted that I play the game so I had to be convinced .
We prepared the board then and started the game in an inverted heart shape. Jessica started with a question,
"Is there any spirit over here? "
There was a ring-like structure which moved to
" yes "
and it got chills on my spine and then the next question she asked,
"what is your name? "
then the ring moves to M then to A then to R then to T then to H then to A .Turns out she's Martha!
Jessica said the name is quite familiar and suddenly I remembered that Louisa's deceased grandmother's name was Martha so we considered it's her grandmother and I was like ,she should have been!
Then Jessica not wasting further time asked another question,
" do you miss your grand daughter ?"
and the ring moves towards
"yes"
from her .
As I was familiar with her grandmother so I thought of asking a question,
"do you visit your grand daughter when you Miss her?"
I expected the ring to move towards yes but it didn't , to my utter shock it moved towards "no"
and suddenly Jessica involuntarily asked ,"why? "
and the ring moves toward the letters to make the word, "trapped".
We were confused so we asked ,
"who ?"
and moved again to find Louisa's name and we couldn't digest so Jessica asked, "what should we do ?"
and the ring moved and said, "rescue "
we decided to check on Louisa and then Jessica asked her grandmother to end the game and it moved to "yes" .
We sighed with the relief . Thank God she didn't say no !
we checked the time it was 1:30 a.m.! So we thought of checking in the morning but now suddenly I noticed the photo of a trio in the frame I hung in the wall and the part where Louisa's standing was there burnt into ashes .
Something is really wrong!
