Chapter 1
Kai got to school and noticed no was in the parking lot, or anywhere. Kai walked into the school building and noticed that everything looked over grown, but he was there just yesterday and it didn't look anything like that. Kai could smell the blood coming from one of the rooms he didn't know which one though. Kai walked into one of the rooms that smelled of blood. He saw his teacher laying on the ground behind the desk. Kai knelt on the ground beside him to check for a pulse. Kai didn't feel a pulse or even hear one not even a faint one. Kai could smell that there was more blood further away in the building. He ran down the hall to where the smell of blood was coming from. He found the room where the scent of blood was coming from. Kai saw a girl in the back of the room. He got closer then realized it was the girl he just started dating. Kai could tell she was alive but he didn't know for how long. He saw her stomach and leg was bleeding out. Kai took off his jacket and wrapped it around her stomach then took off his shirt and wrapped it around her leg to help stop the bleeding. Kai saw she was woke up and said, "what happened." Kai said, "Grace i don't know ." Kai then said, "I'm going to take you to my house my house because my sister and dad will know how to help you without all the questions from doctors." Grace said, " O...K..." Kai said, " Can either of us explain what happened." Grace said, "No but, fine." Kai picked her up and got to his car as fast as possible and laid her down in the backseat of his car. He started to drive, he heard her crying and Kai said "What's wrong" Grace said, "Nothing" Kai got to his house and carried her in to the house. Then he yelled, " Bella, Dad, help. Angel ran down the stairs to see what happened. Then Bella. Kai said, "I'll take her to one of the bedrooms upstairs." Then Kai laid her down on the bed. They grabbed all the medical supplies they had. Kai grabbed something to numb the pain and something to prevent an infection. Kai said, "Are you okay if I touch your stomach to put the bandage." Grace said, " Yeah, why are you asking." Kai said, "Out of respect." Grace said, " That's sweet and thank you." Kai wrapped her stomach and her leg. Then Kai said, " How does that feel." Grace said, " Do you have anything for the pain Kai." Kai said, " Yeah I'll go get you something." Kai went down stairs and grabbed a glass of water and grabbed a pill for her to take. He came back up stairs into the room and handed it to her. Kai said, "Here you go." Grace took the water and a pill out of his hands and said, "Thank you." Kai said, "I really love." as he got on to the bed and laid beside her. Grace looked over to Kai and said " I really love you too." Grace then said, "I am really happy you found me when you did Kai." Kai said, "I wasn't even planning on going to school today but something made me feel like I should go, I'm happy I did because I would not want to live the rest of my life without you." Grace leaned in to him and kissed him and said, "I am really happy you chose to go to school today."
Angel came up the stairs and knocked on the door and kai said, "come in" Angel walked in and said, "How are you feeling." Grace said, "Better" Angel said, "Do you guys want anything to eat." Grace said, "Can I have a sandwich." Angel said, "Of course Grace." Then Bella walked in and said, "Grace how are you feeling better." Grace said, "Yeah" Grace said, "I think I bled through the bandages." Kai said, "Do you want me to check." Grace said, "Yeah" Kai then lifted the blanket off of her to check her stomach and leg to see if she bled through the bandages. Then Kai said, "Yeah you bled through the bandages." Kai grabbed all the bandages. He lifted her back a little to wrap the bandage around her stomach then he wrapped a bandage around her leg. Kai said, "Is that better." Grace said, "Yeah." Then Angel said came back with a sandwich and handed it to Grace then Grace said, "Thank you." Bella said, "Grace how old are you." Grace answered her by saying, "Almost 18." Then Bella said, "So this is your last week of school." Grace said, "Yeah, but I don't think anyone is finishing though because look at what happened to the school." Bella said, "Are you and Kai together." Grace and Kai looked at each other for a moment and Grace said, "Yeah" Kai then sat down on the bed and said, "I think Grace needs to rest." Then Angel said, "Yeah... Okay just call if you guys need anything." Then Angel said, "Kai I need to talk to you real quick." Then Kai got up and walked to Angel. Then Angel said, "So you know we have to go back there to investigate and see if we can figure out what happened." Kai said, "When though dad." Angel said, " We should do it pretty soon maybe tonight." Kai said, "Alright I'll go get everything we need to bring along packed." Then Kai left and went down stairs with Bella. Kai went back to the room where Grace laid crying. Kai ran over to her and said, "Grace what's wrong." Kai placed his hand on her cheek and wiped away her tears and said, "It's okay." Grace then said, "I can't go home Kai, I have no one there can I please stay here." Kai said, "Yeah Grace of course you can stay here as long as you need." Grace said, "Is your dad okay with that though." Kai said "Yeah my dad would understand." Then Grace leaned into him and kissed him. Then she groaned in pain. Kai said, "Grace are you okay" as he placed his hand on the upper par t of her stomach. Grace said "Yeah I'm okay, it was my fault anyway." Kai said "It's not your fault, but are you sure you're okay." Grace said, "Yeah I'm sure I'm okay." Then Kai said, "I'll be right back I'm going to talk to my dad about this." Grace said, "Okay." Kai ran down the stairs to find his dad making dinner. Kai said, "Grace asked asked if she could stay she has no one at home." Angel said, "Yeah." Bella then came down stairs and said, "I think Grace needs help." Kai said, "I'll go help her." Then Kai left and ran upstairs and said, "Grace what's wrong Bella said you needed something." Grace said, "Can I have water." Kai said, "Yeah of course." Kai ran down stairs and grabbed a glass of water for her. Then he came back up stairs and handed it to her. Kai then said, "Do feel better." Grace said, "Maybe a little better."
Grace said, "Do you think I would be able to take a shower to get the blood off of me better." Kai said, "How about I just wash the wounds alright, then I'll give you a pair of sweat pants and a tank top that you can put on after." Grace said, "That's okay because I don't think I can stand that long." Kai grabbed a towel, water, and soap and clothes from his room. Then he came back with new bandages too. He unwrapped the bandages slowly, trying not to hurt her. He put the towel in the water and gently rubbed around the wounds to get the dried blood off. She winced in pain. Kai could feel her body try to jerk away from it but ended up going into the towel worse. Kai said, "Are you okay." Grace said, "Yeah" Kai said, "You can tell me to stop if you want." Kai then did the wound on her leg. kai said, "Do you want me to just hand you the clothes, or do you need help." Grace said, "I can get dressed by myself. I think." Grace said, "Thank you." Kai said, "I really do care for you." Grace said, "I know." Kai said, "Do you want dinner." Grace said, "Yeah, can you carry me down for dinner, if not it's okay, but I'd really love to eat with you guys." Kai said, "Yeah, of course if you want." Angel said, "Dinners done guys." Kai lifter her up and said, "Is this okay or does this hurt." Grace said, "It's this fine." Kai said, "Your stomach bled through. I'll fix it when we get down there." Grace said, "Thank you." Kai sat her down on a chair and redid the bandage on her stomach. Sine he rewrapped her stomach, he then propped her leg on a chair and rewrapped her leg since it also bled through a little. Grace said, "Thank you." Angel came over with plate for Grace first. Then Kai sat down on chair next to her. Bella sat across form Grace. Then angel sat across from Kai. Angel said, "Grace did Kai tell you we have to go back to the school building tonight to see if we can figure out what happened. If you and Bella want to come with you guys can." Grace said, "Yeah I'll go with." Bella said, "Yeah I'll go with you guys too, I'll pack a whole bag with medical supplies for Grace, and in case anybody gets hurt alright."
