"This is a beautiful story. Very different, unique, and truly a pleasant surprise. There are parts of this story that are so beautifully written that it brought tears to my eyes. I read it in one day, not just the four chapters requested by the author, I read all of it, and will not spoil the ending by posting my reaction in this review.... I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading a novel that the author actually takes the time to edit the drafts rather than posting them as they are. I say this not just as a reader, but as a writer who properly and fairly uses available technology to outline novels rather than having the technology write them for you. This is a talented writer and an excellent novel. You might want to wear waterproof mascara. The characters are surprisingly relatable, the plot is excellent. "

"This book is not my usual choice but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I find myself drawn to understanding more about her, what her story is and where she came from. Very good writing and world building. It felt like I was there in WW2. "
